TRENTON, NEW JERSEY: New Jersey witnessed an extraordinary occurrence during New Year's as a pair of twins were born on different days and, astonishingly, in different years.

Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Voorhees Township proudly revealed the birth of twin boys, Ezra and Ezekial, during the holiday celebrations.

Ezra and Ezekial were born a day apart on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

"One entered the world late into the evening on December 31; the other arrived on January 1, soon after 2024 began," stated the hospital's press release, obtained by FOX 29 Philadelphia.

"Older brother Ezra was born at 11.48 pm on New Year’s Eve, weighing 6 pounds and measuring 18¾ inches long," elaborated the note, adding, "Slightly younger brother Ezekial was born at 12.28 am on New Year's Day, weighing 4 pounds and measuring 17¼ inches long."

Eve and Billy, the parents of the newborns, also have another son who will turn three on January 3, and interestingly, according to the hospital, this pattern of births runs in the family.

"To make their birthdays even more special, Ezra shares his birthday with his dad, Billy, who is a New Year’s Eve baby, too!" highlighted the press release.

Residing in Merchantville, the growing family was captured in a heartwarming photo released by Virtua Voorhees Hospital, displaying the joyous parents cradling their precious newborns.

"Parents Eve and Billy are thrilled that their boys are healthy and will have a great birthday story to tell," expressed the hospital.
