DALLAS, TEXAS: Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has teamed up with colon cancer awareness organization Learn From Behind for a hilarious yet educational advertisement that takes some funny jabs at his team’s rivals, as reported by the New York Post.

The advertisement, which Prescott shared on social media earlier this week, promotes Learn From Behind’s at-home screening kits for colon cancer. However, it certainly doesn’t feel like a typical cancer PSA.

“Probably gonna get a lot of $h!t for this,” Prescott wrote when he posted the video, and he wasn’t wrong. The ad quickly went viral, racking up over a million views in less than 24 hours.

In the video, Prescott holds up a sample collection kit and explains how to use the stickers included in the package. “If you’re prescribed a home screening kit like this, grab the sample collection container and place a sticker of something you want to s**t on right on the underside,” he says.

The video then shows various sticker options: a raven, falcon, ram, viking, buffalo, panther, dolphin, lion, bronco, eagle, the color brown, bear, cardinal, buccaneer, jet, 49er, and even a referee.

“Not a fan of marine life? Slap it on. Have issues with old-time prospectors? Boom. It works with anything, from colors to large predatory birds,” Prescott explains with a completely straight face.

Of course, the sticker selections take some very clear (and hilarious) shots at the Cowboys’ divisional rivals in the NFC East as well as other teams they have faced in high-profile matchups over the years.

While the ad’s digs at opposing teams will certainly get some laughs from Cowboys fans, its primary purpose is to raise awareness about colon cancer screening.

Colon cancer is the second deadliest cancer in America, but it is highly preventable with recommended at-home tests. Learn From Behind aims to promote these simple, life-saving tests through unconventional public health messaging that catches people’s attention.

Prescott himself lost his mother Peggy to colon cancer when he was just 23 years old, so raising awareness about screening is an important personal cause for him.

Internet reacts to Dak Prescott's witty collaboration with Learn From Behind

It’s clear from the reactions on social media that Prescott successfully used humor to draw attention to a serious topic.

"Word play game on point,” commented one X user, while another said, “Man, this might be my favorite commercial ever."

"Not a fan of Dak, but this is good," wrote someone else, showing how the ad bridged team rivalries.

"Very effective ad and a good public service. Hopefully it will save lives," one comment read. A fifth user wrote: "This is the greatest commercial I’ve ever seen. What a great way to start my morning."

With witty writing paired with Prescott’s deadpan comedic delivery, the internet widely agrees that Learn From Behind knocked their unconventional ad out of the park.
