NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News anchor Jesse Watters recently got brutally slammed after he predicted that former first lady Michelle Obama might replace President Joe Biden.

Former president Barack Obama reportedly advised Biden during a lunch meeting to adopt a more aggressive approach in attacking former President Donald Trump.

Obama even proposed the idea of hiring a former campaign staffer to serve as a senior strategist for this purpose.

This came as Trump has consistently outperformed Biden in general polling, maintaining a 2.2% lead over the incumbent in the RealClearPolitics average of general election polls from December 4 to January 2.

Watters took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share his take with his followers, however, the host faced backlash from the internet.

Jesse Watters predicts Michelle Obama might be ‘plan B’ for Joe Biden

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters took to X and wrote, “The Obamas are staging a hostile takeover. Michelle and Barack are taking over. And Michelle is now sending out the bat signal. If I were Joe Biden, I don't know who I'd fear more: her or Trump.”

Watters said, “The Obamas say Joe Biden is going to lose, so they’re staging a hostile takeover. Obama world is telling everyone who will listen in Washington that the Biden campaign is complacent, unimaginative, they don’t understand the threat of losing to Trump.”

He continued, “Team Biden says Biden is way too Zen. I think when he says way too Zen, he means barely alive, but I don’t want to put words in the former president’s mouth.”

Fox News host further said, “The Washington Post is reporting Obama has been visiting Biden to tell him he needs a full overhaul of his campaign. Obama is pushing Biden to push his political operation outside and beyond his advisors. Translation, Barack and Michelle are taking over, and the media agrees.”

This came as Biden attacked Trump and his supporters during his speech near Valley Forge in Pennsylvania and labeled Trump’s supporters as an “extremist movement.”

Watters exclaimed, “Biden’s trying to throw Trump in prison the rest of his life, strip his business license strip him off the ballot and just called him a combination of Hitler and King George III and the Obamas think he should go on the attack?”

He concluded, “I am afraid to ask what this would look like, but if Trump is not damaged goods by the convention, Michelle Obama is presenting herself as plan B.”

Internet calls out Jesse Watters as a ‘stain’ on American media

Many X users blasted Jesse Watters after his take on Michelle Obama.

One person wrote, “Scared of a strong woman?” and another said, “Man you are ridiculous. What a hack.”

An X user said, “No and false.  Jesse is lying.  👍,” and another wrote, “Watters is a stain on American media.”

One more called out Watters, “We know you’re scared and intimidated by intelligent strong women. Which is why your female co-workers are neither,” and another said, “Please, just stop. It's pathetic.”
