Cameron Crowe welcomes third child at 67, his first baby girl with GF Anais Smith

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cameron Crowe, the acclaimed 'Jerry Maguire' director, has become a father again at the age of 67.

Crowe and his girlfriend, publicist Anais Smith, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Vivienne Marie Crowe, on November 4.

Anais Smith, 40, shared the joyful news on her Instagram on November 10, along with heartwarming photos of their newborn daughter, People noted. 

“Welcome to the world, Vivienne Marie Crowe (11.04.24),” Smith wrote in the caption, sharing her happiness with friends and followers.

“In just one week, you’ve already added so much love and happiness to our lives with your joy, curiosity, bright eyes, unforgettable expressions, snuggles and affection," she added.

Smith also expressed her excitement for the future, adding, "To watch you grow up and navigate this world will be the greatest gift, and your Dad and I will be there to guide you, celebrate you and have fun along the way! We love you!!!!"

The post featured an adorable photos of baby Vivienne lying on a pillow, marking her first introduction on social media.

Anais Smith announced her pregnancy in August

Anais Smith had revealed her pregnancy in August, sharing that she and Cameron Crowe were expecting a baby.

At the time, she posted, "Baby Crowe is coming this fall." She continued, "So happy to share this exciting news!! Our hearts are overflowing with love & gratitude for this next adventure together, as Mom & Dad!"

Smith later shared that they were expecting a girl, saying, “We can't wait to meet you, baby girl. You've already added so much color, sunshine and love to our lives!"

She concluded her post with a playful set of hashtags, including one that read "#thirdtrimester."

Cameron Crowe shares twin sons with ex-wife Nancy Wilson

Cameron Crowe is already a father to twins Curtis and William, whom he shares with his ex-wife Nancy Wilson, the guitarist of the rock band Heart.

The former couple welcomed the boys in 2000 with the help of a surrogate and an egg donor.

This new chapter for Crowe comes after actress Kate Hudson recently reflected on her experience of working with him on 'Almost Famous', the iconic 2000 musical drama.

Hudson, who starred as Penny Lane, a band groupie, spoke about how Crowe’s musical knowledge impacted her at the time.

"I think [he] connected with the fact that I loved music and saw that in me," she told People.

"He really blew the lid open for so much music for me. I was 19, and he just filled me with all this great music that I’d never heard,” Hudson recalled.

"That was the beginning of everything for me," she said, according to Daily Mail.
