The interview featuring former President Donald Trump and tech magnate Elon Musk on Musk's social media platform X (previously known as Twitter) faced substantial technical issues, resulting in a 40-minute delay. The event, which had attracted considerable attention and dubbed 'Interview of the Century', experienced several interruptions, leading Musk to make a public statement regarding the matter. He explained, “There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on X. Working on shutting it down. Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later.” As users encountered difficulties accessing the live event, hashtags such as “#crashed” and “DDOS” started trending on X. The platform quickly turned into a hotbed for memes, with users humorously reacting to the situation.

1. Help is on the way

A user shared an image in which a man stands confused in a server room, likely trying to diagnose what has gone wrong or as the meme showed, likely engaged in diagnosing or mitigating a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on X (formerly Twitter) during the Trump-Musk interview. The user captioned the image saying, "𝕏 engineer in charge of spaces right now".

2. Locked out of X

Another person shared a GIF writing, "Me trying to join the @elonmusk and @realDonaldTrump twitter spaces." In the GIF, a man attempts to unlock a door using a biometric fingerprint scanner. Just as he's about to open the door after successfully getting a scan, the door locks itself again. The GIF highlights the numerous attempts of social media users trying to access the Trump interview because the tech issue locked everybody out of Space. 

3. Smugly observing others' struggle

Another expressed the chaos on social media via a scene from one of the 'Twilight' movies, which shows the three men of the Volturi stand together as they observe the chaos. The caption of the meme read, "Me listening to the Twitter space seeing other people not be able to join." Presumably this lucky viewer was able to access the interview without any issues.

In this meme, a Democrat is depicted whispering in Kamala Harris' ear, exclaiming, "Ma'am, we did it! We executed a DDoS attack on X." The meme blatantly imagined Harris being behind the attack which halted her rival Trump's interview, which is touted to have been seen by over a million viewers.

'Matrix' did feature in one of the memes as Trump and Musk are imagined wearing long capes and black eye gear, looking pretty much baddass like Keanu Reeves in the famous movie franchise. The caption read, "Broke the internet", speculating everyone was scrambling to hear what Trump had to say.

Internet is already jokingly blaming Kamala Harris for the glitch, so as prevention action, a social media user created this meme showing how the Deep State would be reacting to this chaos.
