WASHINGTON, DC: Pop icon Taylor Swift surprised her fans on Tuesday, August 26, as she announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in an Instagram post, sharing a carousel of photos.

After her announcement, President Donald Trump, who has been an avid critic of the pop star, congratulated her and Kelce, as he called him a "great guy" and called Swift a "terrific person".

She shared an altered image of Taylor Swift's ring and wrote, "Wow, look at her ring. Taylor always loves the hidden messages!" as the words “Republicans decimated Medicaid” were written in tiny letters.

4. Sen Marsha Blackburn
