MIDDLETOWN, RHODE ISLAND: The prestigious St George's School in Rhode Island has accused its alumnus, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, of allegedly violating an agreement by recording a Zoom session with students without permission, as per The Daily Beast.

In a letter addressed to the school community, administrators expressed their disappointment over Carlson's actions, which they alleged violated the terms of the remote discussion.

The incident has sparked outrage online, with social media users slamming Carlson for his actions and demanding accountability.

According to the school, a student group initially invited Carlson to speak on campus.

However, due to security concerns and a state law prohibiting guns on school premises – Carlson travels with armed guards – it was agreed that the former television host would participate remotely via Zoom.

"In accordance with school policy, Mr Carlson and his team agreed that there would be no recording of the students participating in the session given that most of the students in attendance would be minors," the letter stated.

Despite the agreement, the school alleges that Carlson's team recorded the Zoom discussion and shared it online, violating the terms they had agreed upon.

"It's now apparent that the Zoom discussion was recorded by Mr. Carlson's team and shared online in a clear violation of that agreement and our policies," the letter continued.
