WASHINGTON, DC:  FBI Director Kash Patel has publicly defended his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, amid a storm of online attacks and media scrutiny.

Kash’s statement followed reports that he used an FBI jet to visit the singer, who sang the national anthem at a wrestling event at Penn State University on Saturday, October 25.

This comes amid a government shutdown, with the jet reportedly valued at $60 million.

Kash faced criticism after aviation records reportedly showed that an FBI-registered aircraft landed in Pennsylvania. The plane then flew to Nashville, where Alexis lives, shortly after.

Alexis later also shared photos from the event on X, showing Kash accompanying her.

Former FBI agent turned podcaster and outspoken MAGA supporter Kyle Seraphin publicly questioned the ethics of Patel’s travel.

He pointed out that it took place during a government shutdown when many FBI employees were not receiving pay.

“We’re in the middle of government shutdown … and this guy is jetting off to hang out with his girlfriend in Nashville on our dime?” Seraphin said in a recent episode of his podcast, 'The Kyle Seraphin Show'.

According to FBI policy, Directors are required to fly on government jets to handle his communications and security.

Directors are also supposed to pay the government at a commercial-flight rate for their personal travel.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) lists the aircraft's registered owner at the FBI's national headquarters in Washington, DC, suggesting it was an official government plane.

Kash Patel calls Alexis Wilkins a 'true patriot'

In response, Patel issued a strong statement: “Let me be clear: we will not be distracted by baseless rumors or the noise from uninformed internet anarchists and the fake news”

Accusing attacks on her of being “cowardly and jeopardises our safety.”

He described Alexis as “a true patriot, rock-solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes”.

He also called out his allies for remaining silent about the controversy, “To our supposed allies staying silent — your silence is louder than the clickbait haters.”

This is not the first time that Alexis has been the target.

She was touted as an Israeli agent who pressured Patel not to disclose the Epstein Files because of Epstein's supposed link with Israel.

Alexis has also sued Seraphin for calling her a former Mossad agent and sought at least $5 million in damages.
