AOC trolled mercilessly after she wildly dances to Cardi B and lets her hair down at Bronx rally
BRONX, NEW YORK: In a spirited display of Bronx pride, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez electrified a political rally over the weekend by dancing energetically to Cardi B's hit song 'Enough'.
The viral moment captured Ocasio-Cortez jumping and cheering on stage, rallying supporters alongside fellow Democrat Jamaal Bowman who is going up against the more moderate Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

The video, which quickly gained over 3 million views on social media, shows Ocasio-Cortez embracing the Bronx spirit, leading chants and igniting enthusiasm among attendees. Amid cheers from the crowd, she urged, "Let's go Bronx! Are we ready to fight? Are we ready to take this borough back?"

Joined by Senator Bernie Sanders, who has also thrown his support behind Bowman, Ocasio-Cortez used the rally to underscore progressive values, including criticism of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and a call for a Gaza ceasefire. Defending Bowman against accusations, she emphasized, "It's not extreme. It's not fringe. It's not bigoted to want everybody to be protected."
Meanwhile, the primary contest has intensified, with Bowman and Latimer locked in a competitive race. Recent polling indicates Latimer leading with 40% of the vote compared to Bowman's 31%, leaving 21% undecided as the campaign heats up.
The event was not without its critics, as pro-Palestinian protesters voiced concerns over Biden administration policies during the rally. Despite challenges, Ocasio-Cortez and Bowman remain steadfast in their campaign, aiming to rally support against what Sanders described as an election defining struggle against corporate influence in government.
"This election is not about Jamaal versus Mr Latimer. This election is about whether the billionaire class and the oligarchs will control the United States government," Sanders told the crowd. Bowman and Latimer are competing in this year's primary for the state's 16th Congressional District, where Bowman currently holds the incumbent position.
