BRAZIL: Gisele Bundchen took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to her late mother Vania Nonnenmacher.
The supermodel's mother died at the age of 75 on Sunday, January 28.

Gisele Bundchen calls late mother the 'best role model of love'
On Monday, January 29, Bundchen shared throwback pictures of herself and her late mother on Instagram and wrote, "Beloved mom, It hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you anymore, but I know that you will always be watching over us."
"You were an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you," she wrote in both Portuguese and English of her mother, Nonnenmacher.
"I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you. Thank you for being the best role model of love, strength, compassion, courage, and grace," she write
"I will forever cherish the beautiful memories we shared and will live by the values you taught me. You will live forever through the many lives that you touched," she wdded.
"Thank you for giving me five best friends for life. Your love will always guide us. I will see you in my dreams. Love you," she concluded her post.

How did Gisele Bundchen's mother Vania Nonnenmacher die?
Bundchen's mother Nonnenmacher had died from cancer following her hospitalization on January 26, as per the statement issued by Hospital Moinhos de Vento in Porto Alegre, Brazil on January 28.
In September 2023, the Brazilian model spoke to People about the challenges she faced while caring for her ailing parents, describing it as a tough period for her and her family.
"It's been a lot — in every area of my life. I feel like whenever it rains, it pours," she said.
"With all the different twists and turns that life takes, all we can do is the best we can given what happens in our surroundings," Bundchen added.
The 43-year-old emphasized the importance of various tools to support her during such difficult times.

She shared that meditation, daily exercise, and a mix of walks, yoga, and weights helped her in maintaining a positive attitude.
"I think if I didn't have all the different tools that I have to support me during these times, it would've been very hard,” the supermodel shared..
"And I think we all can relate to that, because I think we all have gone through our roller coasters of life," she added, according to People.
