Andrea Mitchell claims Harris struggles to engage with male voters, says 'they don't think she's serious'
WASHINGTON, DC: MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell stated on Sunday, October 7, that Vice President Kamala Harris is having difficulty connecting with both White and Black male voters.
Mitchell, speaking on 'Meet the Press', suggested that Harris needs to boost her media presence, as she is not viewed as a "heavyweight."

Andrea Mitchell highlights misogyny as barrier for Kamala Harris in winning over male voters
"She's got such a big problem with men," Andrea Mitchell observed, noting that support for Donald Trump among that demographic may be underrepresented.
She attributed misogyny as one reason why Harris is not being taken seriously by both Republican and Democratic men.
"I think that there's misogynation in all of this, Black and White men, [it's a] big problem. But also the business world. They don't think she is serious. They don't think she's a heavyweight. And a lot of this is gender, but she's got to be more specific about her economic plans," Mitchell stated.
She further added, "I think they've got to double down on doing more interviews and serious interviews."
Harris has faced criticism for largely avoiding the press. Since her nomination as the Democratic candidate 72 days ago, she has not held any official press conferences.
However, in response to this criticism, Harris has changed her approach and increased the number of interviews she conducts.
She is scheduled to appear on 'The View', 'The Howard Stern Show', and 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' this week, all of whose hosts have shown support for her, as per a Fox News report.
"I think is a great thing," former White House press secretary Jen Psaki stated. "At this point, when everything matters, you have to take risks and people may make mistakes. It's worth it. Put them out there and have them doing a bunch of stuff."

"Kamala's problem isn't just with men, it's with reality. Sounds like another attempt to spin the failing narrative. The Democrats are lost, young man," claimed a critic.
