LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Angelina Jolie seems to be reaching her breaking point after years of relentless courtroom battles.

The actress — who has been embroiled in multiple court cases against her ex-husband Brad Pitt — recently made an eyebrow-raising move that insiders say is a sign that she's ready to put an end to the drama.

Is Angelina Jolie 'waving a white flag'?

Insiders view Angelina Jolie's recent choice to withdraw her lawsuit against the FBI as her "waving a white flag" in her ongoing battle with Brad Pitt. For those who aren't privy to the facts, the lawsuit revolved around a 2016 incident during a private plane flight.

Jolie had accused Pitt of being violent towards her and their children during the flight, and she was seeking information from the FBI about their investigation into the matter. However, after two long years of battling it out in court, the 49-year-old actress decided to call it quits.

Sources suggest that she is now eager to move on from not only this case but also the other legal disputes tying her to Pitt.

Although Jolie and Pitt officially divorced in 2016, their separation has been rather messy. The couple, who share six children, have been locked in a six-year battle over the custody of their kids – Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16. Custody issues, however, aren’t the only thing keeping the two at odds.

Their dispute over the ownership of Chateau Miraval — a luxurious French vineyard they bought together — has also been dragging on for years without any resolution in sight.

A source close to Jolie revealed just how much this is taking a toll on her. "Angelina is absolutely exhausted by the ongoing battles over her and Brad's kids and the absolutely mind-bogglingly complicated legal case over her sale of part of their vineyard," they told Radar Online.

Angelina Jolie's struggle between motherhood, career, and health scares

Angelina Jolie also has had to deal with situations in her personal life. Recently, her son Pax was involved in a serious electric bike accident that left him with visible scars and a brain bleed. The 20-year-old slammed his e-bike into the back of a car in July and was rushed to the ICU.

However, Pax has remained by his mom's side — even accompanying her to the New York premiere of her latest film, 'Maria.'

Besides looking after Pax and her five other children, Jolie is also trying to keep her career afloat. A source close to the star commented, "She's trying to juggle looking after Pax following his bike accident, as well as being a mom to five other kids – plus an obviously demanding career that demands she looks her best at all times."

At a recent film festival in New York, Jolie was spotted signing a movie poster for 'Mr & Mrs Smith,' the 2005 film where she and Pitt famously met and "fell in love." The actress appeared somber as she scribbled her name next to her face on the poster.

Wearing a long, furry black coat, Jolie’s demeanor was noticeably subdued and sources suggest that the stress from her ongoing legal battles and personal struggles may be weighing heavily on her. As one insider told Radar Online: "Everything is getting really draining for her, and she is skinnier than ever with stress."

Toll of Angelina Jolie's latest role and lingering legal battles

What's more? It seems Angelina Jolie's latest role has also taken quite a toll on her. She recently wrapped up filming 'Maria,' which is a biopic about Greek opera star Maria Callas.

The demanding role required Jolie to undergo seven months of intense opera training, which is said to have left her physically and emotionally drained. A source told Radar Online that Jolie “really put herself through the wringer on her last job playing Maria Callas, and it is all catching up on her now."

But despite her desire to find peace, it seems that Jolie's battles are far from over. Insiders say that while she may be ready to let go of the custody fight and the vineyard dispute, Pitt is not backing down anytime soon.

"She doesn't want the fights over the kids or the vineyard and just wants peace. But she knows Brad will not let go of his fights over the winery – and especially not their children – so unfortunately she still has a mountain to climb before they can reach an agreement and move on," the source revealed.
