LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Grande is celebrating the conclusion of the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour with a heartfelt message to fans by sharing concert pictures, performance videos, and behind-the-scenes moments before heading to the UK for the remaining shows.

Her update comes days after her representative announced that she would take a step back from public-facing work after the tour concludes, allowing her to take a much-deserved break from public appearances amid ongoing scrutiny.

Ariana Grande says she'll 'cherish every moment' of North American tour leg 'forever'

On Friday, August 6, Grande shared a carousel of moments from the Eternal Sunshine Tour on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for the experience.

“I love you … i cannot believe that this concludes the north american leg of the eternal sunshine tour. i am overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude. thank you endlessly for the most special, beautiful, joyful and deeply fulfilling few months …” she wrote.

Grande added, “I will cherish every moment of this time with you all & these memories forever. thank you, Chicago … London, i cannot wait to see you soon. i love you all more than ever.”

The singer released her latest album, 'Petal,' on July 31. According to a press release, she described the 12-track album as “something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.”

Grande’s Instagram post came days after her representative announced that she would be “taking a step back from visibility” after wrapping up the tour in early September.

The August 2 statement explained that Grande looked forward to finishing the tour “on a high note,” while ending it “healthily and happily” before taking a break from public-facing work and appearances that had brought “endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”

Her representative added, “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”

Ariana Grande addresses break and health discourse

As part of the planned break, Grande will also exit the West End revival of 'Sunday in the Park with George,' where she was slated to reunite with her 'Wicked' co-star Jonathan Bailey for the Stephen Sondheim play at London’s Barbican Centre.

She addressed her decision during her August 3 Chicago tour stop at United Center, emphasizing that her choice was “not a reactive or impulsive thing.” She explained that it was something she had quietly planned “a long time ago” and described the decision as thoughtful and empowering.

Grande also addressed concerns from fans who believed negativity surrounding her had influenced the decision. She stressed that “multiple things can be true at the same time,” explaining that boundaries need to be set and that people can need a break while the tour remains “the greatest experience” of her professional and creative life.

“I love you and this tour has been the most healing, beautiful, corrective, magnificent, special experience of my life,” she concluded.

Days after announcing her retreat from the public eye amid commentary about her health, Grande also “liked” a post by New York-based psychotherapist, relationship expert and author Terri Cole. Cole’s video carried the message, “Unfortunately, I can confirm that not everyone will like the healthier version of you.”

Cole encouraged viewers to “Get healthier, anyway,” while writing that personal growth can create tension in relationships. She noted that some people may celebrate a healthier version of someone, while others may miss the version that was stretched thin to keep everyone happy and comfortable.
