During the test, Erivo asked Grande whether the singer ever had any type of plastic surgery or work done. She asked, "You sing 'Popular' in our film. Did you ever get any work done to make yourself feel more popular?"

Grande replied, "To my face? To my physical appearance?" and Erivo confirmed that's what she was asking which made Grande burst into laughter.

Erivo went on to ask Grande, "Did you get your nose done?" and the 'Break Free' singer said she did not. The host again asked, "Did you get a boob job?"

Erivo then asked her if she ever got a "fox eye lift", a question which Grande said she has been asked before as well by others. She replied, "No, but I discovered it through people who thought I did and I said, 'Thank you.'"

The singer was then asked about chin implant and she said, "How do they do that?! No. I've had fillers in various places and Botox, but I stopped like four years ago. And that is the extent."

She added, "But also, in full support of all people who do these things. Work. Whatever makes women, men, and non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?!"

The singer said in the video, "Full transparency as a beauty person, as I do my lips, I've had a ton of lip filler over the years. And Botox. I stopped in 2018, 'cause I just felt so... too much. I just felt like hiding, you know?"

She also said, "I was just like, 'Oh, I wanna see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines.' I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper and I laugh more and more."

Ariana Grande defends boyfriend against tabloids rumors

Arian Grande defended her boyfriend and 'Wicked' co-star Ethan Slater against continuous tabloid rumors about their relationship, per USA Today. She expressed her displeasure on how people perceived Slater amid allegations about their relationship during an interview with Vanity Fair on Monday, September 30.

Grande said during the interview, "Of course, I went through a lot of life changes during the filming of this movie. A lot of people that were working on it did. We were away for two years. So, of course, I understand why it was a field day for the tabloids to sort of create something that paid their bills."

It was revealed in 2023 that Grande and Slater had both separated from their spouses and were in a relationship, leading to speculation that cheating had occurred, per USA Today.

Moreover, People magazine had reported that Grande and Slater did not begin dating until after both of their separations.

She defended Slated and said that there "couldn't be a less accurate depiction of a human being than the one that the tabloids spread about him."

She added, "No one on this earth tries harder or spreads themselves thinner to be there for the people that he loves and cares about. There is no one on this earth with a better heart, and that is something that no (expletive) tabloid can rewrite in real life."
