Ashley St Clair accuses Elon Musk of reducing 'financial support' for their child after her lawsuit

AUSTIN, TEXAS: MAGA influencer Ashley St Clair accused Tesla CEO Elon Musk of reducing "financial support" for their child after she filed a lawsuit seeking sole legal custody in February.
Her lawyers told People on Thursday, March 20, "Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally."

The legal team alleged that Elon Musk reduced the financial support for his child with Ashley St Clair after the MAGA influencer "was forced to bring this matter to court, when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity."
They further said, "At the same time, he filed an emergency application to gag Ashley and prevent her from communicating about his actions. The judge denied the emergency nature of the application, even though it is still pending."

The lawyers added, "Ashley is vigorously opposing this application in order to preserve her right to speak out. All while Mr Musk fashions himself a first amendment warrior and freely communicates via his owned social media platform."
"Given that Mr Musk is dedicated to transparency in government, it would be helpful if he administered his own life by the same principles," they added.
Drama surrounding Ashley St Clair and Elon Musk
Ashley St Clair claimed in February via X (formerly Twitter) that she and Elon Musk had a secret child in 2023 and that the Tesla CEO has been absent from his son’s life.
Interestingly, the multi-billionaire reportedly sought legal measures and included an emergency gag order to restrict her from discussing the matter publicly, per the outlet.
As per the lawsuit, St Clair stated that they started dating in May 2023 and conceived in January 2024.
She said, "I feed him, bathe him, and ensure that all his physical and emotional needs are met," while Musk has been absent from her son's life.
Notably, Musk first embraced fatherhood in 2002 when his ex-wife Justine gave birth to their son Nevada Alexander, who tragically died at 10 weeks old.
The couple then had five more children—twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19, according to People.
Elon Musk's text messages to Ashley St Clair
Ashley St Clair's custody lawsuit revealed some shocking text messages exchanged between her and the Tesla CEO. It included a conversation from the day their baby was born.
St Clair sent Musk a photo from the delivery room, holding their newborn son and the SpaceX CEO asked, "All well?"

St Clair replied, "He is perfect" as Musk followed up with, "I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend."
In a different conversation, St Clair sent a selfie with a friend to Musk and he responded, "Hi cutie."

She continued, "Hi, see u soon" as Musk casually said, "I want to knock you up again."
The court filings also showed Musk's deep paranoia about security threats. It included the idea that he was a top target for assassination.
In a text exchange, he told her that he was "#2 after Trump for assassination."
Musk told her, "Wake up. This is not the time for sentiment at the expense of safety. If I make a mistake on security [REDACTED] will never know his father."
