AUSTIN, TEXAS: It seems Elon Musk is embroiled in a full-blown custody battle over his alleged 13th child.

That said, Musk and MAGA influencer Ashley St Clair's courtroom showdown will now be strictly off-limits to the public, as a court order has sealed the case.

Elon Musk and Ashley St Clair's custody clash

Ashley St Clair, 26, has sued the Tesla and SpaceX boss, demanding sole custody of their alleged son—referred to as RSC in court filings—and insisting that Elon Musk take a paternity test to confirm he’s the father.

He had reportedly been dragging his feet on the legal front, but that changed fast. Musk has now lawyered up, bringing in family law attorney Alyssa Rower to represent him in the case.

Rower recently filed a request to have the case sealed. Court hearings that were previously scheduled to be public will now be carried out behind closed doors.

In a statement to the Daily Mail, St Clair's attorney Karen Rosenthal confirmed the case was now locked down tight: "The courtroom will be closed and the Record sealed. Other than that, I have no comment."

Rosenthal has previously accused Musk of playing "unnecessary gamesmanship" by ignoring the lawsuit and delaying the appointment of a lawyer. But now it looks like the tech titan is finally taking things seriously.

Elon Musk's alleged 'disinterest' in his 13th child

Ashley St Clair isn’t just asking for legal recognition—she’s also making some serious claims about Elon Musk’s role (or lack thereof) in their child’s life.

According to her court filings, the child was born in September 2024 after she and Musk started a "romantic relationship in or about May 2023."

But despite allegedly fathering her son, the tech mogul has only met the boy three times—and for barely a few hours in total.

She details the brief meetings in the court documents. Musk met the baby for the first time on September 21, 2024, in New York City for two hours. A follow-up visit the next day lasted just one hour. Then, the billionaire reportedly squeezed in a 30-minute visit with the baby during a trip to Austin, Texas.

St Clair is now arguing that Musk has shown zero interest in raising the child and that she has been the sole parent making decisions on his behalf since birth. She even claims that the Tesla CEO wasn’t there for the birth and hasn’t indicated that he wants custody.

According to St Clair, the baby was conceived on the tropical island of St Barts.

Elon Musk's shocking text messages to Ashley St Clair

Ashley St Clair's custody lawsuit included some shocking text messages exchanged between her and Elon Musk. One of these conversations was a text exchange from the day the baby was born.

St Clair sent Musk a photo from the delivery room, holding their newborn son. Musk asked, "All well?" To which St Clair replied, "He is perfect." Musk followed up with: "I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend."

In another exchange, St Clair sent Musk a selfie with a friend. Musk responded, "Hi cutie." She continued, "Hi, see u soon." And then Musk casually dropped the bomb: "I want to knock you up again."

The court filings also revealed Musk's deep paranoia about security threats—especially the idea that he’s a top target for assassination. In another text exchange, he told St Clair that he was "#2 after Trump for assassination."

Musk warned her in stark terms. "Wake up. This is not the time for sentiment at the expense of safety. If I make a mistake on security [REDACTED] will never know his father," he wrote.

One thing about Musk is that he wants children—and lots of them. He’s famously said that "civilization is going to crumble" if people don’t have more children, and he’s certainly leading by example.

If St Clair’s claims are true, this child would be Musk’s 13th. So far, he's fathered 13 children with three different women, including musician Grimes and Neuralink exec Shivon Zilis.
