PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Billionaire tech tycoon Elon Musk is back in the headlines after a conservative influencer recently claimed to have had his 13th child.

Ashley St Clair, 26, sent social media into a full-blown meltdown on Friday, February 14, when she casually announced that she had given birth to Musk’s child five months ago. However, Musk hasn’t publicly acknowledged the baby.

Instead, he decided to react to a five-year-old post from St Clair that’s now making people question how this all went down. The resurfaced post has sparked accusations of a public attempt to garner Musk’s attention.

A five-year scheme to 'ensnare' Elon Musk?

Social media sleuths went digging, and what they found was eyebrow-raising, to say the least.

Five years ago, St Clair flat-out admitted in a tweet: "I need to get Elon Musk’s attention for a marriage proposal pls Greg."

Her friend Greg Price was rather skeptical, telling her that Musk already had a kid and it seemed "unlikely to work out."

But St Clair wasn’t deterred. "Well, he actually has 7 kids & goes through women pretty fast," she quipped.

That old exchange resurfaced when X user @Nero reposted it. "Ashley St Clair plotted for HALF A DECADE to ensnare Elon Musk," they alleged.

Musk responded to the post with a single word: "Whoa."

Within minutes of Musk's one-word reaction, St Clair clapped and accused Musk of ignoring her while choosing to react to internet gossip instead.

"Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?" she wrote.

She deleted the response soon after—but not before the internet took receipts.

Ashley St Clair delves deeper

In a bombshell interview with the New York Post, Ashley St Clair claimed Elon Musk actually asked her to keep the entire pregnancy a secret. She insisted that Musk is "funny" and "down to Earth", but admitted that he wanted to keep their baby hidden for “safety reasons.”

While she refused to reveal her son’s name, she did say he is "happy and healthy." She gushed to the outlet, "My child is the most perfect thing that happened to me. I wouldn’t change anything."

St Clair claimed that Musk put her up in a fancy apartment and provided security, but offered nothing in terms of an actual relationship. She said she spent her pregnancy in total isolation, following Musk’s alleged demand to keep his name off the birth certificate.

"I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody," she revealed.

St Clair said she was willing to stay silent—all to protect her newborn’s privacy.

But then a tabloid started sniffing around, ready to break the story whether she liked it or not. That’s when she decided to beat them to it and drop the bombshell herself.
