According to insiders, Affleck, 53, is “seething” over lyrics in one track, which he views as a “damning” form of retaliation.

Among them was a track titled 'Wreckage of You,' which stunned attendees with verses seemingly aimed at Affleck. The former couple tied the knot in 2022, but Lopez filed for divorce two years later, finalizing the split in January 2025.
“Jen feels free and unapologetic about channeling her emotions into her music,” one source said. “She's sure this marks the beginning of a new chapter, and if it unsettles Ben, that's his issue. But he feels embarrassed. He just wants to leave it behind, not deal with friends and colleagues questioning him about her songs. To him, it majorly crosses a line.”
The pair are also locked in a dispute over their $60 million Los Angeles mansion, which they placed on the market earlier this year. After struggling to find a buyer, the sprawling 12-bedroom property was pulled from listings in recent weeks.
Affleck reportedly wants to relist the home in six months at a reduced price, but Lopez has resisted lowering it now. “Even sitting vacant, the place is a money drain. Ben wants to put it back on the market at a reduced price in six months, but Jen refuses to lower it now,” one source explained. “He feels she's being spiteful, hitting him where it hurts financially.”
The insider added that if legal teams become involved, the situation could escalate quickly. “If Ben pushes too hard, Jen will push right back. She's still resentful about what she lost in the divorce. If lawyers step in, it could turn ugly fast. For now, he's keeping a lid on it publicly, but behind closed doors, Ben is raging.”

Insiders say Affleck is worried Lopez will continue using her music to reveal details about their private struggles. “He's concerned this is only the start and that Jen will continue to reveal more through her lyrics. It frustrates him deeply, but he knows there's nothing he can do – she's entitled to express her life in her music."
