Ben Affleck says he's 'not chasing' romance 2 years after Jennifer Lopez split

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Love is not in the cards for Ben Affleck right now. The 'Argo' actor is not focusing on romance following his split from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez after two years of marriage.

At the premiere of his new film 'Animals', the actor revealed that his love life is currently not a priority, as he is more focused on his children and work. Affleck explained that there “isn’t a lot of room” for romance in his life right now and shared that he is not even “running around” looking for a relationship.

During an interaction with Entertainment Tonight, the 54-year-old actor shared that he is “not running around” looking for romance. Affleck insisted that he is “good and happy” with his life as a single man.

“I know what my priorities are. You can’t have two things that are the most important in your life,” he explained. “For me, that’s the kids. So that’s what that is. And then I have my work, which I love.”

Affleck added, “I’m where I’m at, and I’m great, and who knows what adventures life will bring. I’m open to it, but I’m not trying to chase anything.” The statement came after Affleck previously addressed claims that Ana Navarro tried to set him up with Shakira following his split from Lopez in 2024.

“I hear it, honestly, first from people like you,” Affleck said, adding, “I never heard that in my whole life. People gossip. Stuff gets made up.” Affleck insisted, “I don’t get set up.”
