WASHINGTON DC: President Joe Biden took a swipe at his predecessor, Donald Trump, and his social media platform, Truth Social.

Biden, in a tweet on X, on June 13, ridiculed Trump's late-night tirades on Truth Social, affirming his own capacity to address questions that Trump cannot.

“And you won't catch me ranting on Truth Social at 3 o'clock in the morning,” Biden tweeted.

Joe Biden addressed climate change and oil executives

Biden, who is currently in a heated presidential contest with Trump, also included a video in the post. In the video, he is asked to choose between addressing climate change and "do the bidding of oil executives."

He responds by saying, “Trump will do the bidding of oil companies.” He predicted that the former president's actions would make us all "sicker".

The incumbent also talked about and highlighted his successes in reducing student loan debt and the cost of insulin for diabetics, as per Benzinga.

When questioned whether he preferred to engage with voters or post rants on Truth Social at 3 am, Biden responded, “What is he doing at 3 am in the morning, I don’t know…I guess the guy can’t sleep. Must have a guilty conscience.”

Notably, Trump is well-known for posting on Truth Social and holds a 57.6% stake in the platform's parent company, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp.

Joe Biden, Donald Trump's feud escalates amid Hunter Biden trial

In light of recent developments involving Trump, Biden's tweet holds special significance. The President's son, Hunter Biden, was found guilty of three felonies related to firearms. This was the first trial in which a president's child was involved.

Biden had earlier attacked Trump, calling him a "convicted felon" and reportedly implying that "something snapped" in him following his defeat in the 2020 presidential race.

The President had called Trump "clearly unhinged" and warned that his threats would only increase if he were to win a second term. However, Trump has been intensifying his attacks against Biden.

He posted a video of the President with his hands and feet bound on his social media platform, Truth Social. Two moving trucks with Trump-supporting decals and flags are seen in the video.

The 2024 presidential election is fast approaching, and many polls indicate a tight race between Trump and Biden.

Both have emerged as favorites in the polls, as well as in the betting odds provided by sportsbooks that feature election wagers.

Internet slams Joe Biden for his tweet

As soon as the video surfaced on social media, users reacted to Biden's tweet. A user wrote, "You literally can’t even talk let alone rant"

Another user shared a GIF saying, "Joe Biden training to debate Donald Trump."

One commentator slammed Biden saying, "You can’t answer anything. You aren’t even the one who made this post."

"Because you are asleep by 8pm," a person mocked.

One said, "You can't answer anything without cue cards. Stop gaslighting."
