WILMINGTON, DELAWARE: President Joe Biden’s early voting day on Monday, October 28, in his Delaware hometown took an unexpected turn when he found himself in line behind a man wearing a red, profane pro-Donald Trump hat.

From a distance, the cap looked similar to former President Trump’s iconic “Make America Great Again” merchandise.

However, a closer look revealed a not-so-subtle twist: the hat read, “Elect That Motherf**er Again!!”



 

Biden’s reaction to the pointed message? A quiet patience as he waited roughly 37 minutes to cast his ballot. The moment, which was quickly picked up by cameras, marks another unusual photo op for Joe Biden involving pro-Trump hats.

Back in September, during a solemn visit to Shanksville, Pennsylvania, Joe Biden briefly wore a MAGA-style hat, resulting in a flood of online memes.

Social media humorists painted the picture of a president humorously and reluctantly wearing Trump paraphernalia - a possible reflection, some joked, of the president's alleged disappointment over his impending retirement.



 

This speculation was bolstered when Republicans seized on the image, using it to suggest Biden’s unspoken discontent with his “forced retirement” and the historic transfer of his role to Vice President Kamala Harris at the top of the Democratic ticket.

As it stands, Biden’s re-election decision follows a contentious June 27 debate with Trump, which didn’t play well with voters or within his own party. Critics pointed to his visible challenges during the debate, citing moments they felt hinted at a decline in cognitive ability.

This spurred some high-level Democrats to encourage Biden to end his campaign bid - a move that sparked internal debate but ultimately saw Biden bowing out.

In the final stretch of his term, Joe Biden faces consistent allegations from Donald Trump, who has painted him as resentful over what he calls a disrespectful end to his career.

The Republican nominee also criticized Democrats for not only 'greatly' demeaning but further embarrassing the president by instructing him to stay away from Vice President Harris' campaign.

However, Biden remains steadfast in his stance, telling reporters on Monday he has no regrets about stepping down, per New York Post. When asked if it felt bittersweet to cast a vote for Harris rather than for himself, Biden simply replied, “This is sweet.”
