Bill Clinton responds after Trump orders DOJ to probe Epstein ties
These emails prove Bill Clinton did nothing and knew nothing. The rest is noise meant to distract from election losses, backfiring shutdowns, and who knows what else.https://t.co/BaAUDbw2uv

WASHINGTON, DC: Bill Clinton’s spokesperson, Angel Urena, addressed the renewed scrutiny surrounding the former president’s past association with Jeffrey Epstein.
The House Oversight Committee recently released three excerpted emails involving Epstein, his convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, and writer Michael Wolff.
The statement from Clinton's spokesperson came after President Donald Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department to investigate Epstein's ties to Clinton, as well as his Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, venture capitalist Reid Hoffman, and the bank JPMorgan Chase.
Bill Clinton's spokesperson responds to Trump's order
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bill Clinton’s spokesperson wrote, "Bill Clinton had no involvement and was unaware of any wrongdoing," adding that everything else is simply “noise meant to distract from election losses, backfiring shutdowns, and who knows what else.”
Trump on Friday, November 14, claimed, "He never visited Epstein's infamous island, Little Saint James, but former president Bill Clinton visited the island 28 times."

However, the newly released emails reveal that Epstein dismissed a victim’s claims about Clinton being on the island. He wrote, “Clinton was NEVER EVER there, never,” adding that this “punches a hole” in the victim’s allegations against “Dershowitz” and “Andrew.”

Clinton has faced scrutiny for his broader ties to Epstein, including visits from Epstein to the White House and his acknowledgment of trips on his jet.
Clinton has consistently denied any knowledge of Epstein’s abuses. In 2019, his Urena posted on X, “President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes, Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those he has been recently charged in New York.”
Trump says all arrows in Epstein case point to the Democrats
On Friday, Donald Trump took to social media to once again frame the emails as a distraction.
He compared the situation to the investigation into Russian election interference in 2016, calling the emails a “hoax” and stating, “This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats.”
Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures, I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the…

He also sought to shift scrutiny of his actions onto Democrats and financial institutions, arguing that they had deeper relationships with Epstein than he did.
"I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him," he wrote.
“Epstein was a Democrat, and he is the Democrat’s problem, not the Republican’s problem!” Trump wrote in another post, before adding, “Don’t waste your time with Trump. I have a Country to run!"
Bondi responded within hours on X, thanking Trump for his request and noting that she had assigned US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton to lead the probe.
