Billie Eilish’s 'eating meat is inherently wrong' quote sparks debate
Billie Eilish recently sparked an online debate after her comments about meat eaters who say they “love animals.” During an interview with Elle, in the “Ask Me Anything” section, she was asked, “What hill would you die on?”
She responded, “Y'all are not going to like me for this one,” before saying, “Eating meat is inherently wrong.” She added, “And the other thing is, two things can not coincide. ‘I love animals. I love all animals so much, and I eat meat.’ You just can't do both, sorry.”

She also clarified, “You can eat meat, go for it! You can love animals, but you can't do both.”
In an earlier British Vogue interview, she said, “I just can't go on in my life knowing what's going on in the world, and not do anything about it.”
