Body language expert weighs in on how Pete Davidson is able to attract so many beautiful A-list women
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Love him or hate him, no one can deny comedian Pete Davidson's ability to attract some of the most sought-after ladies in Hollywood.
The list of the 31-year-old's former romantic partners includes the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, and Emily Ratajkowski, as per Unilad.
As Davidson is not considered by many to be among the most conventionally handsome men, his dating history has frequently sparked speculation of what exactly his allure might be among women.
Expert says Pete Davidson's apparent willingness to relinquish control greatly attracts women
Body language expert Judi James attempted to decode Pete Davidson's appeal for the Daily Mail, stating that while his reputation for having "big d**k energy" (BDE) has its advantages, it "doesn't quite explain his fatal attraction values for so many global beauties."
When the comedian was dating supermodel Ratajkowski in 2022 following his brief fling with Kardashian, James stated, "It looked like Kim was his ultimate 'all the cherries aligned' fruit machine-type win but now he's dating Emily Ratajkowski, proving there is no glass ceiling on romance as far as Pete is concerned."
She explained that the edginess and humor of Davidson, along with his dating history and apparent willingness to relinquish control greatly attracted women, especially those who have recently gotten out of serious relationships.
"He seems to let the woman take control of the body language signals," said James, adding, "One of the last images of Pete during his Kardashian days was him scuttling off to the shower when Kim called him in with her."
"When you see shots of Pete with his dates it's usually the women instigating all the sexual signals while he just sits looking grateful for all the kisses and hugs. In a world of controlling exes this too could be like therapy for the women," noted the body language expert.
What makes Pete Davidson the perfect rebound partner?
Body language expert Judi James described Pete Davidson as "the guy with the goofy grin and the body language and fashion finesse of a party-loving teenager."
"Not only does Pete look like a man who is continually punching above his weight, he acts like it too with his body language. He tends to look star-struck in a very flattering way," she observed. "The more beautiful a woman is the more she tends to attract the arrogant narcissist. Pete looks like the opposite, which could be refreshing."
The 'Saturday Night Live' star is also aided by his line of work, as comedy provides him with an "alpha vibe" where other celebrities "take themselves too seriously," claimed the expert.
"Jokes can be as powerful as muscles when taking somebody down and Pete's ability to crack great one-liners might be super-attractive, especially if he's bringing a toxic ex down to size," James expressed.
The casual nature of Davidson's relationships may also work in his favor, she suggested, saying, "The way his relationships get measured in months rather than years, but without any painful, ego-crushing endings, could make him the perfect 'fun and wild' therapy for any woman coming out of a painful divorce."
"Pete's dates look like they would take you back to your teenage years of dating," remarked James.
Moreover, his dating history further propelled his desirability, as James noted, "The minute Pete pulled his first A-list beauty he naturally became an object of desire for similar women. It's a fame and status by association concept. Who would not be interested in dating the man who dated Kim Kardashian?"
