WASHINGTON, DC: Social media is once again ablaze with a debate, this time pitting current First Lady of the US, Jill Biden, against former First Lady Melania Trump regarding the White House Christmas decorations.

In recent news, Melania gained attention amid reports that she advocated for Tucker Carlson to be the Vice President if her husband, Donald Trump, secures the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential election.

Adding to the headlines, Jill Biden faced criticism labeled as 'disgusting' after Fox News' Jesse Watters mocked the first lady's annual White House Christmas decorations.

The Daily Mail recently conducted a poll, presenting respondents with a choice between Melania's 2020 Christmas designs and Biden's from the current year. The poll deliberately kept the identities of the decorators undisclosed.

According to the Daily Mail, 51 percent of Democrats preferred Trump's decor, while 49 percent favored Biden's. Among Americans 65 and older, the majority (53 percent) voted in favor of Biden, with 47 percent supporting Trump.

Joe Alder, senior research associate at J.L. Partners, observed that despite the closeness of the results, the public's verdict was evident: "Melania Trump brought the finer Christmas decor to the White House."

As per Daily Mail, Alder remarked, "Remarkably, Melania showed a particularly astute sense for the tastes of her husband's political base: Republicans preferred her decorations by a margin of 15 points, with Democrats agreeing but by only one point. Jill Biden's decorations had a stronger appeal with older Americans - the only group with whom she won out - but overall it was Melania with the touch for the nation's tastes."

In a tweet, @DailyMailOnline declared, "Melania Trump v. Jill Biden in a festive face-off! Daily Mail poll reveals which first lady's Christmas decor REALLY brought more holiday cheer to the White House."
