Britney Spears and felon BF Paul Soliz's marriage plans heat up as he is 'expected to propose soon'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears might soon be walking down the aisle with her boyfriend, Paul Soliz.
Sources reveal that there are growing expectations for a proposal from Soliz, who has recently filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Nicole Mancilla, per InTouch Weekly.
Britney Spears’ boyfriend Paul Soliz likely to propose soon
The couple reportedly met in 2022 when Soliz was working on maintenance at Spears’ home.
A source told In Touch exclusively that, “People are expecting Paul to propose soon.” Spears’ family members, including her brother Bryan, have voiced concerns over Soliz’s past. He has a criminal record, which raises red flags for those close to the pop icon.
A source shared, "But he always weasels his way back in. Paul has taken on the job of Brit’s social media manager, and now he has some of his kids (he has nine total) living at her house."
"Britney has her blinders on. Unless someone can talk her out of this, Paul’s going to be the next Kevin Federline, only 10 times worse.”
Britney Spears opens her home to Paul Soliz and his children
Britney Spears welcomed her boyfriend, Paul Soliz, and his three children into her luxurious California mansion, marking a significant step in their relationship.
This transition reportedly occurred about a month ago, following their romance, which blossomed in September 2023 after Spears' highly publicized split from Sam Asghari.
The development has attracted attention, especially from Sandra Smith, the outraged mother of Soliz's estranged wife, Nicole Mancilla. During an appearance on the 'Drew Lane Show' in Detroit, Smith confirmed the living situation and expressed her concerns, stating, "No, and he also took three of the kids. We're trying to get those kids back."
Colleagues and friends of Spears have labeled Soliz as "bad news," citing his troubling past that includes previous legal issues.
In December 2022, he faced felony possession of a firearm charges related to an incident that occurred in 2019. Although there have been no new charges since then, concerns remain heightened following a troubling encounter with law enforcement last May, which arose after a dispute between him and Spears at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
