LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Recent events surrounding Britney Spears have sparked concerns among her friends, particularly regarding her relationship with on/off boyfriend Paul Soliz and the potential reemergence of "weirdos from the past" in her life following a reported incident at a Los Angeles hotel.

The pop star made headlines after receiving medical attention for an injury sustained during a reported altercation with Soliz at the Chateau Marmont. Images published by The Daily Mail showed Spears appearing disheveled as she left the hotel alongside Soliz and her security guard.

Concerns mount over Britney Spears’ relationship amid hotel incident

Sources informed law enforcement that a woman matching her description was "harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests," exhibiting behavior such as crying and shouting in the hotel corridor.

Britney responded on Instagram, denouncing the reports as "false news" and stating her intention to relocate to Boston. However, an insider shared with The U.S. Sun concerns among her friends about her reconnection with Soliz, fearing negative influences from her past might exploit her vulnerability.

Despite Britney claiming to be single in February, she has been linked to Soliz since her split from ex-husband Sam Asghari, who filed for divorce in August 2023.

"We know that a few weirdos from her past have been trying to get back into her life," the source said.

"But all we can do as her friends is give her legal reps the heads up if we think any of them could cause problems for her." They said her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, who has been praised by the singer since the incident, is "very proactive."

Britney also acknowledged Mathew's role in "turning her life around" after he assisted in terminating her 13-year conservatorship in 2022. This move came amid strained relationships with her parents and sister, Jamie Lynn.

"None of us want her to go to Boston and this is the first time we'd heard of it, but she doesn’t feel safe in LA," the source continued.

"Do any of us trust this Paul guy? No. But she knows she can't trust her parents either."

"It's easy for predators to target her because they know she doesn’t have the protection of her family. But yes, none of us like Paul. We are concerned about her. She needs support and someone who has their eye on her heart and not her hard-earned cash," the tipster added.

"To some of us, it feels like he came out of nowhere and we don’t trust that he isn't just a grifter. Once again, if her parents were stand-up people she could turn to them for guidance but she knows they aren't so she can't."

Britney Spears has stirred up controversy with accusations aimed at her estranged mother, Lynne Spears, following the incident at a Los Angeles hotel that left her with a twisted ankle.

In a brief Instagram post, the 42-year-old Grammy-winning singer displayed her bruised ankle to her followers and addressed the incident that occurred at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California. With her swollen foot visible, the 'Oops... I Did It Again' artist can be heard in the video saying, "I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot — just to show proof."

However, a source claimed that Britney's injury was the result of a purported altercation with her on-and-off boyfriend, Paul Soliz after they returned to her hotel room at 11 pm.

Britney reveals in the post, “It’s so bad. F**king idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room of the Chateau and I fell — embarrassed myself — and that’s it.”

“Paramedics came to my door immediately. Of course, caused this huge scene, which was so unnecessary and all I needed was ice. It is actually pretty bad but s**t happens,” she concluded.

In the second clip, the 'Circus' singer appeared less upbeat than in the first. With her swollen ankle compared to her uninjured foot, Britney seemed to start crying.

Accompanying the posts was a fiery rant against her mother, with Britney seemingly blaming her for her alleged involvement. She claimed, "I know my mom was involved!!!" before adding, “I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out.”

“I was set up just like she did way back when!!! I wish I had grandparents!!! I can’t stand her!!! I honestly don’t care I will say it!!!”

However, it remains unclear why the Princess of Pop was blaming her mother.
