Britney Spears sparks mental health crisis after being witnessed leaving the hotel 'wrapped in a blanket'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears sparked concerns of a ‘mental health crisis’ at the Chateau Marmont in the early hours of Thursday, May 2, as she left the hotel "wrapped in a blanket."
Initially, after checking into the hotel with her boyfriend Paul Soliz on Wednesday night, May 1, Spears ended up “out of control”, visibly upset, possibly injured, and nearly taken away in an ambulance, reports TMZ.
Britney Spears allegedly caused a disturbance and also threatened the hotel employees
The publication noted that a disturbance was reported at the hotel after a woman “matching Britney’s description was harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests,” according to the publication.
The altercation led to police being called to the hotel. However, the officers found no signs of trouble and left.
Spears and Soliz retreated to their hotel room at around 11pm where they “continued partying and drinking” and eventually got into a "huge altercation."
Paramedics respond to crisis after Britney Spears' altercation
The situation escalated to the point where paramedics were called due to Britney possibly "injuring her leg" after getting physical with Soliz.
Britney was screaming and "out of control" in the hallway of her suite and "several guests thought she was having a mental breakdown," the publication reported.
Spears was "seen leaving the hotel, clearly upset and wrapped in a blanket," it noted. However, she did not get into the ambulance and left with her security, without Soliz.
Britney Spears was reportedly being escorted out of the Chateau Marmont early Thursday morning following what some outlets are reporting as a "mental health crisis." She was accompanied by Paul Richard Soliz.
