Jamie Lynn Spears takes a dig at sister Britney Spears after singer settles legal case with her father
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Lynn Spears has seemingly taken a subtle jab at her older sister Britney Spears following the surprising settlement of Britney’s long-standing legal battle with their father Jamie Spears.
Jamie Lynn shared a cryptic message on her Instagram stories suggesting this was what she had already predicted.
Britney Spears was ordered to pay legal fees to her father Jamie Spears
Lynn posted a meme featuring a little boy with an expression of apparent displeasure and tightly-pressed lips accompanied by the caption, "Me watching what I predicted unfold after everyone told me I was crazy."
Details of the settlement have not been disclosed but it is reported that Britney and her attorney Mathew Rosengart agreed to cover Jamie’s $2 million in legal fees, TMZ reported.
This settlement means that the trial over Britney’s allegations of her father’s improper behavior during her 13-year conservatorship will not take place in June.
In a court testimony in June 2021, Britney claimed that she was forced by her father and other conservators to go on tour against her will.
She also revealed that she was prescribed lithium which made her feel "drunk" and was not allowed to get married or have a baby as she wished and was also being forced to use an IUD for birth control, reported Daily Mail.
How is Britney Spears feeling after the settlement?
TMZ reported that Britney is furious about the settlement although she would have had to sign off on it.

Jamie Spears is thrilled this is all over
Rosengart, in a statement to CNN, said, "It has been our honor and privilege to represent, protect, and defend Britney Spears."
"Spears is and always will be an icon and a brilliant and brave artist of historic and epic proportion," he added further.
"Her wish for freedom is now truly complete, and she will no longer need to attend or be involved with the court in this matter," the attorney said.
Jamie’s attorney, Alex Weingarten, issued his own statement on his client’s behalf, saying, "Jamie is thrilled that this is all over."
"Jamie loves his daughter very much and worked tirelessly to protect her. He wants the best for Britney, nothing less," he added.
The Grammy winner and her father have been estranged since her 13-year conservatorship was brought to an end in November 2021.
Jamie Lynn’s recent post seems to suggest that she had predicted the outcome of the legal battle despite others dismissing her as ‘crazy.’
