Brooklyn Beckham skips David Beckham’s 51st birthday, adding to ongoing family feud
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: David Beckham celebrated his 51st birthday on Saturday, May 2, but one familiar member's wish was missing — Brooklyn Beckham. The 27-year-old did not post a message for his father on social media, drawing attention online.
The absence stood out even more as it followed a similar moment just weeks earlier, when Brooklyn also stayed silent on Victoria Beckham’s birthday. While the rest of the family marked both occasions publicly, Brooklyn’s continued quiet has added to speculation about a growing distance.
Beckham family celebrates David Beckham as Brooklyn Beckham stays silent
While Brooklyn stayed silent, the rest of the Beckham family marked the occasion with heartfelt posts. Romeo, Cruz, and Harper all shared their love, alongside Victoria.
"Happy Birthday, we love you so much!! @davidbeckham," Victoria captioned a video of David spending time with his new chickens. In a separate post, the 'Wannabe' singer, 52, wrote that her husband was their “world” and their “everything.”
“We love you so much!!! Happy birthday to the best husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend. To the kindest, most generous soul. We will spoil you all day!!!! Nobody deserves it more than you, xxx,” she added.
David later responded to the outpouring of love, sharing his gratitude with fans and family. “Very lucky & blessed to have had a very special day today being spoilt by my wife, kids, family and friends from the moment I opened my eyes till now,” he wrote.
“I just want to say thank you, and I love you all so much @victoriabeckham & my beautiful family thank you,” he added in his Instagram caption.
Brooklyn’s continued silence on major family moments has not gone unnoticed, especially as speculation around a possible rift continues to grow. Romeo also shared a birthday wish for his father on his special day.
Brooklyn Beckham’s claims about parents fuel family feud speculation
Brooklyn has added fuel to ongoing family tension after making strong claims about his relationship with his parents, Victoria and David, in a post shared on January 19.
In the statement, Brooklyn accused his parents of long-term control and also spoke about issues involving his wife, Nicola Peltz. He wrote, “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped."
"My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife," as per PEOPLE.
Despite the public allegations, reports suggest Victoria and David still hope to repair their relationship with Brooklyn. In recent months, both have continued to speak positively about him, focusing on love, support, and family unity in public appearances and posts.
