“Hey I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I'm so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it! From the forever archives🌞,” Tallulah wrote alongside three touching photos of the 69-year-old actor.

Bruce Willis' diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia was publicly announced by his wife, Emma Heming Willis, in February 2023, almost a year after he revealed his aphasia diagnosis, which led him to step back from acting.

According to the Mayo Clinic, frontotemporal dementia encompasses various brain disorders that affect the frontal and temporal lobes, leading to speech difficulties, emotional changes, and personality shifts.

Tallulah Willis opens up about family resilience and personal struggles

Earlier this month, Tallulah, who shares her father with ex-wife Demi Moore alongside sisters Rumer, 36, and Scout, 33, shared an update during an appearance on the 'Today' show.

She noted that her dad is “stable, which, in this situation, is good.” She reflected, “It’s hard. There’s painful days but there’s so much love. And it’s really shown me to not take any moment for granted and I really do think that we’d be best friends. I think he’s very proud of me.”

The actress expressed that she faced significant challenges with sensory issues, stating, "so being very sensitive to the world." She described discovering her autism as both "emotional" and a "relief," revealing that before her diagnosis, she had "really hated" herself.

"I thought I was very broken," Tallulah, who has also been diagnosed with ADHD, admitted.

She reflected on her journey, saying, "So to learn that the elements of myself that I felt were maladies or wrong, or just too much for this world, are actually okay and they just require maybe a little bit more tools, you know?" Her voice was filled with emotion as she spoke.

Tallulah shared that understanding her autism has allowed her to extend "more grace" to herself moving forward. "As well as, I think, my family and other people, hopefully, who learn about this," she added. "You know? Just to be a little more gentle and compassionate with themselves."

Spending quality time with her father is important to Tallulah. In an interview with PEOPLE in August, she expressed her commitment to visiting him as often as her schedule allows. “I make it a necessity to go into it open to what the visit is, and knowing that before I go in, I'm solid. I'm okay,” she explained. “I've done what I need to do to make sure that I can just be present.”
