Bunnie Xo gets iconic breakup anthem lyric tattoo after Jelly Roll divorce, calls it 'special'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bunnie Xo is embracing a new chapter with a tattoo on her arm after finalizing her divorce from Jelly Roll.
The podcast host and the country star decided to part ways months before their 10-year anniversary. The former couple tied the knot in August 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bunnie Xo's new tattoo features 'Silver Springs' lyric
Following the split, Bunnie Xo got herself inked with a lyric from Fleetwood Mac’s breakup anthem ‘Silver Springs’. Her tattoo on her left forearm reads, “time cast a spell on you.”
The tattoo was shared by artist Jeremy Lifsey on Instagram, where he posted a picture of himself with the media producer as she flaunted the new artwork.
Lifsey captioned the image, “Last night I tattooed the lovely and charming @xomgitsbunnie and @memes.1620 at @tattoomania25 we discovered we were all in ROME 10 months ago at the same time and had crossed paths. What a small world full of interesting synchronicity.”
Bunnie Xo says tattoo was not about Jelly Roll divorce
The 46-year-old also shared details about the tattoo on her Instagram Stories. One photo showed her posing with friends while showcasing their matching tattoos.
She wrote, “When the squad all got matching tattoos of something that's special to us. Not what the media is saying," seemingly suggesting that the tattoo had no connection to her divorce from Jelly Roll.
She also shared a clip of herself getting inked, with text over it reading, “Doing Romantic Shii W/The Homies Again.”
Meanwhile, the song ‘Silver Springs’ was written by Stevie Nicks in 1977 after her breakup with bandmate Lindsey Buckingham. The full lyric is: “Time casts a spell on you but you won’t forget me/I know I could have loved you but you would not let me.”
Bunnie Xo buys luxury Rolls-Royce after divorce
This came after Bunnie Xo bought herself a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, worth between $450,000 and $600,000.
She shared the purchase on her social media page and wrote, “Sometimes a girl needs to spoil herself.”
Bunnie Xo calls Jelly Roll her best friend after split
Earlier, Bunnie Xo clarified on her podcast that there was no bad blood between her and her now ex-husband.
“J and I have been together going on 10 years and he is my best friend. He has always been my best friend and I love that man more than life itself. You guys have seen how I ride for that mofo,” she said.
She further added, “Even to this day, behind the scenes your girl is still riding for that man. And I always will. And that’s just what it is and that’s how it is and that’s how it will always be.”
