Channing Tatum ‘surprised’ but happy for ex Zoe Kravitz’s engagement to Harry Styles: Reports

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: News of Zoe Kravitz’s engagement to Harry Styles reportedly came as a surprise to 'Magic Mike' actor Channing Tatum, though he isn’t dwelling on it. 

“He was surprised when he heard the news, like anyone would be,” a source told Page Six. Tatum is not even in regular contact with Kravitz, as per the publication. 

The 46-year-old actor is currently dating model Inka Williams, 26. He hasn’t commented publicly on the reported engagement, but he did share a cryptic poem on his Instagram Story recently.

A source said Tatum is in a strong place personally and is focused on his current relationship, rather than recent headlines about Kravitz. “Channing has really moved on and is in a great place with Inka (Williams),” the source explained, referring to the Australian model he has been dating since early 2025.

“He really cares about her, things are serious between them and he sees it as something long-term. He’s just focused on his own life right now.” The insider added that the news didn’t have much of an impact on him and that there’s little contact between the former couple.

“But he didn’t really think too much about it,” the insider said. “He hasn’t heard anything directly, and they’re not in regular contact, but if Zoe is happy, he’s happy for her.” Amid the buzz, the 'Magic Mike' star, also shared a short, reflective poem on Instagram on Monday, April 27, credited to writer John Roedel.

“My brain and / heart divorced / a decade ago / over who was / to blame about / how big of a mess / I have become,” the poem reads. “Eventually, / they couldn’t be / in the same room / with each other.” His post came shortly after reports surfaced that his ex-fiancée, Kravitz, is now engaged to Styles.

Tatum and Kravitz quietly went their separate ways in October 2024, ending both their three-year relationship and engagement after drifting apart. The pair were first linked in 2021 and had largely kept their romance low-key. 

Despite going their separate ways, there appeared to be mutual respect. Kravitz even spoke positively about their time together, suggesting there were no hard feelings. Now, both seem to have moved on. Kravitz is reportedly engaged to Styles, while Tatum is dating model Inka Williams. 

Meanwhile, Kravitz’s new chapter is already picking up pace. A source told People in February that she is expected to join Styles on his global tour starting next month.
