LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a candid interview with ABC, radio personality Charlamagne Tha God expressed concerns about the lack of enthusiasm and inspiration surrounding the upcoming elections, particularly in the context of President Joe Biden's leadership.

Charlamagne highlighted his audience's general lack of motivation, emphasizing that the Biden vs. Trump rematch fails to capture the public's interest.

Biden's uninspiring presence

Charlamagne, known for his outspoken opinions, bluntly labeled Biden as an 'uninspiring candidate'. He argued that there is nothing about the president that sparks interest or captivates the American public.

Charlamagne suggested that Biden should rely more on charismatic figures like Vice President Kamala Harris and other inspiring surrogates to generate enthusiasm.

"My audience, I feel like my audience is America. And when I'm out and about just, you know, walking in the street, people are calling into the radio station like, nobody is inspired, you know, by the upcoming election."

The issue of main character energy

One of Charlamagne's pointed critiques was Biden's perceived lack of 'main character energy'. He suggested that Biden should play a more behind-the-scenes role, letting figures with more charisma take the forefront. Charlamagne humorously commented, "That sounds crazy that we're saying that about a president of the United States of America, but he has no main character energy at all. None."

Age and energy

Responding to questions about Biden's apparent lack of energy, Charlamagne dismissed age as the primary factor. He compared Biden to former President Donald Trump, who, despite being slightly younger, exudes more youthful energy. Charlamagne even went on to say, "Donald Trump seems more sincere about his lies than Joe Biden does about his truth."

Kamala Harris and criticism

Charlamagne acknowledged endorsing Joe Biden in 2020 due to Kamala Harris being his running mate. However, he expressed disappointment in Harris's performance, suggesting she hasn't met expectations.

Charlamagne called for Harris to pivot and adopt a more assertive role, leveraging her unique position as the first woman of color in that position.

"No, she hasn't, you know, and-- but I don't think it's too late for her to pivot. You know, I think that right now, you know, historically vice presidents have always kind of played their role."

Blowback from White House

Charlamagne revealed receiving criticism from the White House for his critical remarks about Biden. He argued against such pushback, asserting that citizens should be able to criticize elected officials without facing repercussions.

Charlamagne emphasized the need for a sense of urgency and criticized the administration's failure to act in alignment with their warnings of threats to democracy.

"Yeah. And I think that's the stupidest s--- ever because I think that -- oh, I'm sorry. Because I feel like you should be able to criticize whoever your elected official is, right."

Internet divided over on Charlamagne Tha God's assessment

As Charlamagne Tha God's candid remarks on President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris reverberate, social media responses unveil a spectrum of opinions, One user wrote, "It seems that Charlamagne Tha God believes that The Dems have a messaging problem and what they are doing to our Country is not a problem...Sad!"

Another commented, "Yes please! Kamala has the main character energy of the energy that has been and that will be."

One replied, "She absolutely should go on Fox and debate . We need all the conversions to conservative that we can get."

Another replied, "That would be the comedy of the year!."

One replied, "He's still going to vote for Biden."
