Chris Sununu wins the Internet as he reveals why he didn't get along with Gavin Newsom and Andrew Cuomo

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE: New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu has remarked that he has amicable relations with nearly all of the 50 governors, with the exceptions being California Governor Gavin Newsom, who "no one cares for," and former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, who he called a "complete jacka**".

The Republican governor made these comments while jesting about his Democratic counterparts at the Reagan Institute Summit on Education in Washington, DC.

"Look, almost all the governors get along," Sununu said. "In my eight years, there's really only been two - maybe a third - but two governors that really nobody likes or particularly cares for."

When asked which governors were not in harmony with the others, he responded, "Andrew Cuomo...complete jacka**, no one likes him," to laughter. 

"And I gotta be honest. No one cares for Gavin [Newsom]. Gavin's just a prick, excuse me," he went on.

"He just is. It's really disappointing. All of us got along for awhile, but even the Democrats - they won't tell you out loud - but behind closed doors they're like 'oh God, look who's coming.'''

"They all roll their eyes because...I'm sure that'll hit social media, who cares," he joked.

He mentioned that he maintains good relationships with fellow Democrats, even those with significantly different policies, such as Phil Murphy of New Jersey and Oregon Governor Tina Kotek.

A spokesperson for Cuomo responded to DailyMail.com, stating, "It’s nice to see that they both feel the same way about each other."

Cuomo is currently angling for his political comeback after a sexual abuse scandal forced him to step down from the position.

What are Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom doing now?

Cuomo has his sight set on becoming mayor of NY. Laying the groundwork for the same he recently highlighted arsenic levels in residents of a city housing development apart from shredding the NYC Housing Authority for its 'incompetence', as reported by The Daily News.

Gov Newsom, on the other hand, is treading on dangerous ground as he takes up the issue of abortion.

He has recently signed a bill designed to assist Arizona residents seeking abortions by making it easier for them to access care in California, in response to restrictive measures imposed in the southwestern state.

The new law in California allows Arizona doctors to treat their patients in the state through November 30.

Gov Chris Sununu just 'stated the obvious' about Gavin Newsom and Andrew Cuomo

The Internet also, in most parts, seemed to agree with Gov Sununu's private assessment of the two governors. 

One reader online, warned Sununu, saying, "Respect. Stating the obvious, protect your family." 

One person from Alabama shared how they felt the same about their governor, "About time these anti-American democratic/communist governors are called out for what they are. And before many jump, I am from Alabama and I'm not too happy with the way my governor has turned her back on the people of Alabama."

A Californian resident said about Gov Newsom, "We all know this in California and can’t get rid of him."

There were others who mentioned they found Gov Sununu's descriptions apt, as one shared, "The man speaks truth", and another reader wrote, "I think these descriptions are spot on".

One reader went so far as to praise Sununu for his honesty, sharing, "Finally, a politician who tells the truth."

A former Californian resident blamed Gov Newsom for his relocation, saying, "Gruesome Newsom is the reason so many, including myself, have left California."
