LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Selling Sunset' alum Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip have announced their separation after more than four years together. The former couple shared emotional statements on Instagram on October 26, asking for understanding and privacy as they navigate the difficult time.

Stause, 45, opened up about her feelings in a video, admitting she was struggling with the breakup while reflecting on their relationship. G Flip, 33, also confirmed the separation, expressing continued love for Stause and gratitude for the memories they shared.

“I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together,” Stause said in her video. She explained that the pair had agreed to approach their public separation with love and respect, adding that she remained in love with G Flip and did not have all the information or reasons behind the breakup.

Stause said she believed time would help her understand the lessons from the relationship and allow her to heal. She admitted that she was struggling with the separation and felt vulnerable, describing herself as a failure and acknowledging that her own self-criticism was particularly difficult.

The reality television star explained that she wanted to address the breakup personally rather than release a cold written statement because of the support and affection fans had shown the couple. She also acknowledged that sharing the news was stressful while she was still processing the separation.

“I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss,” Stause said, reflecting on her romantic outlook. However, she questioned whether the relationship should be considered a failure, noting that she had experienced more than four wonderful years with G Flip. She suggested that their separation could represent a different ending than she had imagined rather than a missed opportunity.

Stause concluded by expressing her continued love for G Flip and wishing happiness for both of them. Shortly after her video was published, G Flip confirmed the split in an Instagram post, writing that they would always love Stause, share a special connection and deeply cherish their memories together.

The musician described their emotional state as heavy and said they were not ready to talk, while thanking fans for their support and asking them to respect the couple’s privacy.

Chrishell Stause and G Flip's relationship, wedding and family plans

Stause first revealed her relationship with G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Flippo, during the 'Selling Sunset' reunion in May 2022. The announcement came five months after her separation from costar Jason Oppenheim.

She described G Flip as an extremely talented musician and explained that they were non-binary and used they/them pronouns. The pair first met on Halloween in 2021, when Stause was dating Oppenheim and G Flip was also in a relationship.

Before that, Stause had been married to 'This Is Us' actor Justin Hartley for two years. She said Hartley had blindsided her with a divorce via text message in 2019. She was also previously linked to 'Glee' actor Matthew Morrison and former 'Dancing with the Stars' professional dancer Keo Motsepe.

In May 2023, the duo held a secret wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. G Flip later described it as probably the best day of their life. The couple subsequently organized two additional ceremonies so more family members could attend, including an Australian celebration for G Flip's relatives.

In a September 2025 interview, the musician explained that their first wedding had been arranged so quickly that their family received only three hours' notice. They later decided to turn the celebrations into an annual tradition.

The couple also spoke openly about their efforts to start a family and their difficult in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey. In 2025, G Flip described the experience as emotionally challenging, involving periods of limited good news, disappointment and uncertainty.
