ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS: A car salesman from Rockford, was discovered fatally shot in Chicago one day after his employer revealed that he had taken two individuals on a test drive and failed to return. 

According to Fox News 8, Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez, aged 36, was found deceased in Chicago on February 10. Additional details about the deceased salesman were provided by the vehicle's owner.

Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez worked at 21st Auto Sales, located at 2506 Broadway, for almost two years. The owner of the business said Gonzalez took two customers for a test drive on Friday, but he didn't return. 

The owner, who didn't want to be named, said the police later found the car in Chicago. The Cook County coroner stated that Gonzalez had been shot in the back of his head and back. No arrests have been made yet. 

The owner of 21st Auto Sales said he tried to contact Gonzalez after becoming suspicious about the test drive. "I called him around 12 p.m. to see what he was doing because he always stayed in touch with me."

He said. "I'm overwhelmed. I haven't slept well. Many people keep calling me every day. So I just want justice. We all want justice. Families. Everybody wants justice."

Who was Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez?

According to DailyMail, Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez managed the shop and was a close friend of the owner.

He was born in Mexico but had lived in Rockford with his girlfriend and her child for over twenty years, working mainly as a specialized mechanic. 

The owner described Osorio-Gonzalez as a caring person who treated customers kindly, regardless of whether he enjoyed selling cars or not. "He always was happy, a happy person, treated customers like he knew them for like 20 or 25 years," the owner added.

Family raises money for Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez’s funeral costs

The family created a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs. As of February 20, Tuesday, the campaign has raised $3,360 out of a $15,000 goal.

According to GoFundMe, the family is deeply saddened by the loss of Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez, also known as "Nikitas." 

They mentioned they were not ready for the expensive funeral costs. They also said their final farewell to Cris.
