The 'Substance' actress turned heads on Tuesday, May 12, in France while walking the red carpet in a strapless, sequin Jacquemus gown that highlighted her arms and striking appearance.

Even her stylist, Brad Goreski, gave fans a closer look at the red carpet outfit in a joint Instagram post. Rita Wilson praised the dress, while several fans commented on how stunning the actress looked.

However, much of social media reacted differently, with users debating whether Hollywood’s beauty standards continue to glorify slimmed appearances. She also looked noticeably different in another outfit she wore at the film festival, a sleeveless polka-dot dress.

The discussion has also brought renewed attention to several actresses whose dramatic weight changes became major public talking points over the years.
