Dolly Parton’s nephew Bryan Seaver claims he was barred from singer’s CMA tribute
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dolly Parton’s nephew Bryan Seaver has accused that he was not invited to the Country Music Association’s (CMA) celebration of life event held for his late aunt on Wednesday, October 21.
Seaver made the claim via a social media post, which he shared on Thursday. The close relative of Parton has currently been embroiled in a legal battle with her estate.

On Facebook, Seaver wrote, “What a beautiful tribute. I was not invited. Nor was my daughter Dolly's songwriting guitar playing, claw hammer finger pickin progeny.”
“The rest of my entire family was invited. A few attended. My kids and I were told not to attend. Such is life…” he added.
Bryan Seaver dismisses allegations against him
His post came weeks after he was fired from the post of head of security of Parton’s estate. The late actress’ manager, Donny Nozell, also filed for a restraining order against Seaver, accusing him of “invoking his self-proclaimed military-contractor experience, access to weapons, and capacity for violence” to demand money.
But Seaver fired back, saying, “I was talking frankly in a private way with Danny who I thought was my friend and he fancies himself a gangster. A lot of these messages are two guys having a rage talk and crying on the phone together while we were grieving.”
Also, on his termination, he added, “We refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much.”

Oprah Winfrey says Dolly Parton's 'presence here on Earth will be felt forever'
Meanwhile, the celebration of life event saw many high-profile names honoring Parton, who died on August 25 at the age of 80.
Oprah Winfrey reportedly said, “We’re both Tennessee girls, and she represented to me the essence of being 100% who you see yourself to be. Authentic all the time, and I just loved her for it.”
She also mentioned how strong-willed and generous the ‘9 to 5’ hitmaker was. “I love that she was so generous of heart and generous of spirit, and her presence here on Earth will be felt for forever because the spirit that is so strong that was hers is actually everlasting,” she added.

Katy Perry remembered Parton for her ability to “bring people together from all walks of life, political perspectives and sexual orientations. She saw beyond those labels because she saw the humanity in everyone. For me, Dolly is the blueprint.”
