NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Tuesday, December 5, former President Donald Trump expressed skepticism, stating that he does not think President Joe Biden will be the Democratic Party's nominee in the 2024 presidential election, during a Town Hall event in Davenport, Iowa with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Hannity referenced prominent Democratic figures, including New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, CNN political commentator David Axelrod, and CNN contributor Van Jones, among others, who have been openly critical of President Biden.

Hannity pointed to their assessments, suggesting that Biden is “struggling cognitively”.

Following this news, Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his conversation with ex-POTUS and what he had to say about Biden.

Apparently, the Internet went out to slam Trump as several X users called him out for skipping GOP debates.

Donald Trump doesn’t believe Joe Biden will be Democratic Party candidate

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “@realdonaldtrump on Biden's cognitive decline: 'We shouldn't be joking about it'.”

During the one-on-one conversation between Hannity and Trump, the host questioned, “I can’t think of in the last couple of months any appearance that he’d had where he wasn’t either mumbling or bumbling or stumbling or having no clue where to go, where to exit. Now my question is: Do you think in 11 months he will be their candidate?"

Trump replied, “I think he's in bad shape physically. Do you remember when he said, ‘I’d like to take him behind the barn’? If he took me behind the barn, and I went like this. I believe he’d fall over. I believe he’d fall over, who knows!"

He continued, “And by the way, it was okay for him to say that. He could say that and everybody thought it was so cute. If I ever said it, they’d say, ‘He’s a dictator, he's a horrible human being.’ You know it’s a whole double standard we have, not only in the law but just about everything else, as you know very well.”

“I personally don’t think he makes it physically. I watched him at the beach. He wasn’t able to lift a beach chair which is meant for children to lift… and mentally I would say he’s possibly equally as bad and maybe worse."

Continuing his remarks, Trump expressed, “I will say he’s got vicious people surrounding him around that beautiful Oval Office. There are people in that Oval Office that are evil people. Bad people. Smart people. Young, vicious, they are communists."

He specifically mentioned Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom in the context of a debate moderated by Hannity in Alpharetta, Georgia, where Newsom faced off against GOP presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump commented on Newsom, stating, "He’s slick, but he’s got no facts."

Reflecting on Gavin Newsom's performance, Trump remarked, "I thought he did well, considering that he didn’t have the facts. He said, ‘We have the lowest taxes in the country,’ ‘we have the cleanest streets in the country,’ and I’m saying, ‘wait a minute, is he talking about the same place?’"

“I guess they say that Kamala [Harris] would be the odds to beat," Trump commented, eliciting boos from the audience in response to Harris' name.

Trump suggested, “Because they’d say if they didn’t give it to her, the African American vote, the Black vote, would not go to them. And we just had a poll where I’m at 22 and 25 percent with the Black vote."

Internet slams Donald Trump for his remarks against Joe Biden

After Donald Trump mocked Joe Biden of cognitive failure with Sean Hannity, many X users slammed the ex-POTUS.

One person wrote, “Of course he says that now, because we can see and hear that Trump is beginning to deal with it. So now it's not funny, because it's real to HIM!”

Another added, “This from the person who consistently jokes about it. But he is also in such decline he does not remember this.”

An X user simply slammed Trump adding, “#DumpTrump  he is only a few years away from that,” and another said, “Says the 78 yr old who is scared to take questions from the audience.”

One had a similar opinion, “Says the 78 yr old. This is laughable.”

“Trumps handlers are smart keeping him out of the GOP debates. He's also in cognitive decline.  We'll have a choice between two men who can't remember what day it is or where they are.  But one is an indicted felon too. Yeah, good times are ahead for us. We can't win in November,” said another X user.
