BRONX, NEW YORK CITY: Donald Trump drew attention with his bizarre remarks at a rally in the Bronx as he bragged about how he put on his clothes by himself.

During the event on Thursday, May 23, the former president spoke to the crowd adhering to a pre-written script, and he veered off to an unusual description of his morning routine and his heroic wardrobe struggles, according to HuffPost.

Donald Trump recalls imaginary conversation with himself

Reading the pre-written script, Trump said, “Some of the greatest days of my business career were in the toughest times."

“But I enjoyed waking up every single morning and — go to battle. A lot of people say to me today, the toughest business people, people that you know about, ‘Could I ask you a question: How do you do it?’ I say, ‘Do what?’” the 77-year-old continued.

He then mimicked an imaginary conversation with himself as he said, “‘How do you get up in the morning and put your pants on? Why do you put those pants on?’ ‘I’ll explain it to you someday’ ‘How do you do it? How do you get up? How?’”

Donald Trump's previous weird comments

Trump continues to make headlines for his weird remarks as he was recently called out for his bizarre praise of 'Silence of the Lambs' villain Hannibal Lecter.

As MEAWW previously reported, the former president drew an unusual parallel between Lecter and mental health policies as he said, "They’re emptying out their mental institutions into the United States, our beautiful country," at the New Jersey rally on May 11.

“And now the prison populations all over the world are down. They don’t want to report that the mental institution population is down because they’re taking people from insane asylums and from mental institutions," he continued.

"You know what the difference is, right? An insane asylum is a mental institution on steroids," Trump added.

“Silence of the Lambs. Has anyone ever seen The Silence of the Lambs? The late, great Hannibal Lecter is a wonderful man. He oftentimes would have a friend for dinner," the 77-year-old continued.

"Remember the last scene? 'Excuse me. I’m about to have a friend for dinner,' as this poor doctor walked by. ‘I’m about to have a friend for dinner.’ But Hannibal Lecter. Congratulations. The late, great Hannibal Lecter," he added.

Donald Trump slammed over speech about heroic wardrobe struggles

Reacting to Trump's weird comments about his wardrobe struggles at the Bronx rally, one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "Carefully, as not to disturb his diaper."

One user tweeted, "We’re all just listening to this with tears in our eyes from laughing so hard," while another user wrote, "They want to know how he gets them over his diaper."

"Of all of the things I haven’t wondered about Trump, I haven’t wondered this the most," a netizen commented.

"It's easy to get up out of bed and put on pants when you live in a fantasy world," a user remarked while another user tweeted, "Stranger than strange. Deranged."

"I ask a lot of questions but asking this particular question to another man is completely out of my vocabulary," a netizen wrote.
