BRONX, NEW YORK: Two rappers from Brooklyn indicted of murder conspiracy joined former President Donald Trump on stage at his Bronx rally on Thursday, May 23, according to New York Daily News.

Rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow announced their support for the Republican presumptive nominee as Trump attempted to woo the deep-blue New York state ahead of the November election.

Both rappers were arrested in May 2023 along with 30 defendants in 140 counts indictment in New York that included charges of conspiracy, murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, and nearly a dozen shootings.

Sheff G, whose real name is Michael Williams, received bail in April at $150,000 cash or $1 million bond for the multiple charges. Hallow, legally known as Tegan Chambers, received bail of $200,000 cash or $150,000 bond for charges of conspiracy.

The rappers appeared alongside Trump on stage, announcing their endorsement of the four-time indicted ex-POTUS.

"One thing I want to say. They always gonna whisper your accomplishments and shout your failures. Trump gonna shout the wins for all of us," Sheff G said to the Bronx crowd.

Meanwhile, Hallow stated, "Make America Great again."

Trump shook hands with the indicted rappers and said, "I appreciate it. Thank you."

Soon after the rappers left the stage, the real estate mogul delved back into his campaign speech, declaring, "I'm thrilled to be back in the city I grew up in, the city I spent my life in, the city I helped build and the city that we all love."

Trump received the shocking endorsement from indicted rappers while he is under trial in a criminal case

The White House hopeful was stuck in the Manhattan courtroom for over a month in the hush money trial against him.

Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 presidential election. He faces 34 counts for falsifying business records to pay off adult film actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election to silence her about their alleged extramarital affair. The defense and prosecution rested their case, and the court is expected to hear the closing arguments on May 28.

Internet outraged at indicted rappers' endorsing Trump

Internet users lashed out at Trump and the Republican Party for allowing the indicted rappers allegedly belonging to gang members at the Bronx rally.

One user wrote, "Water seeks its level." Another remarked, "Desperate for the Black vote. This demonstrates what he thinks about the community."

"Just when you think Trump can't sink lower," a third user fumed. A fourth response read, "Serious question. Who does Trump associate with who’s not a grifter or criminal, in one way or another?"

Another person wrote, "How Republicans can be for law & order & stopping crime coming over the border when Trump has these criminals ON STAGE with him!!! The hypocrisy is mind-boggling. He’s brainwashing Maga to think these are good guys cause they are Maga! Here’s what Sheff G (Michael Williams) did."

"A jarring spectacle, as a political leader embraces and amplifies the support of indicted individuals facing grave criminal charges, blurring the lines between politics and criminality, and sparking questions about the moral compass of a nation's leadership," someone else claimed.

An individual opined, "The party of Lincoln certainly has evolved-mobsters, gangsters, felons & traitors R Us."

Another outraged user said, "This is a Republican embarrassment!"
