PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Donald Trump has responded to a heated exchange of accusations with his presidential opponent, Kamala Harris, after she twice referred to him as a fascist during public appearances on Wednesday, October 23.

Taking to his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump hit back at Harris' comments, accusing her of increasing her attacks out of desperation.

In his post on Truth Social on Thursday, October 24, Trump wrote, "Comrade Kamala sees that she is losing, and losing badly, especially after stealing the Race from Crooked Joe Biden."

"So now she is increasingly raising her rhetoric, going so far as to call me Adolf Hitler, and anything else that comes to her warped mind," he added.

Calling the vice president "a threat to democracy," Trump stated that she is "not fit to be President of the United States — And her Polling so indicates!"

However, it should be noted that while Harris called Trump a fascist, she did not liken him to Hitler, Trump suggested.

Kamala Harris’ fascist accusations and concerns over Donald Trump’s admiration for Hitler

Kamala Harris' remarks came in response to recent reports from The Atlantic and The New York Times, which claimed that Donald Trump harbors a long-standing admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Speaking outside the vice-presidential residence, Harris called Trump a “fascist” with a desire for “unchecked power,” further stating that he has become “increasingly unhinged and unstable,” according to The Daily Beast.

When asked during a CNN town hall whether she genuinely believes the Republican presidential candidate is a fascist, Harris did not hesitate.

“Yes, I do,” she told host Anderson Cooper and also urged voters to trust the views of Trump’s former appointees, such as retired generals Mark Milley and John Kelly, who have voiced concerns about Trump's behavior.

While Donald Trump’s spokesperson denied the allegations about his admiration for Hitler, the former president himself took a more direct approach, attacking both Kamala Harris and his critics.

He labeled his former chief of staff, John Kelly, as a "lowlife" afflicted with “Trump Derangement Syndrome Hatred” after Kelly’s comments to The New York Times.

During a speech at an Atlanta event organized by the conservative youth group Turning Point USA on Wednesday, October 23, he took aim at Harris, labeling her as “crazy” and questioning her intelligence.

“She’s not a smart person. She’s a low IQ individual,” Trump said, according to The Guardian.

He encouraged voters to tell Harris, “You’re the worst ever. There’s never been anybody like you. You can’t put two sentences together. The world is laughing at us because of you.”
