WASHINGTON, DC: Nicole Shanahan, former vice presidential pick of Robert F Kennedy Jr, released a provocative campaign video that has garnered widespread attention online.

The nearly two-minute video, styled as a drug commercial, tackles what Shanahan terms 'Trump Derangement Syndrome', humorously proposing "Independence" as the cure.

Nicole Shanahan's commercial criticizes the Democratic Party

Speaking to Fox News, Shanahan stated that Democrats have "lost their soul," suggesting that Kennedy's alliance with Donald Trump represents a "true coalition" in this year's election, according to The Hill.

The advertisement poses a series of questions to viewers, poking fun at those who oppose Donald Trump.

“Are you or your loved ones suffering from illnesses such as TDS also known as Trump Derangement Syndrome?” the campaign commercial asked.

“Do you dismiss or deny the current issues facing our country, such as historic inflation, illegal immigration, corporate corruption, World War III escalations, and the chronic disease epidemic?” the narrator continued.

“Are you willing to elect someone who was the least popular vice president in modern history and who offers no policy or vision for America simply because your brain keeps telling you anyone but Trump?” the campaign asked voters.

“If so, you might be struggling from TDS. Introducing Independence," the commercial answered.

Nicole Shanahan's advertisement offers 'Independence' as a remedy

Offering "Independence" as a remedy, the advertisement stated, “Independence allows you the freedom to finally think independently once again. Instead of believing everything you hear from the mainstream media, Independence allows for constructive critical thinking.”

The advertisement featured mock testimonials from individuals who humorously claimed to have suffered from TDS, describing their journey from uncritical acceptance of anti-Trump rhetoric to newfound independence and rational thought.

“I used to hear people on the news say things like ‘Donald Trump and the movement he has encouraged are a threat to democracy’ and I instantly believed it,” said a voiceover.

Accompanied by images of Vice President Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention, the advertisement claimed, “With Independence, I now realize the media is run by the Democrat elite who are a corrupt oligarchy that censors free speech, silences opponents, supports forever wars, and abandons democracy by anointing its candidates."
