MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, has labeled the United States a "third world s**thole" following his father's felony conviction.

The former president was found guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records after a brief deliberation on Thursday, May 30, with sentencing scheduled for July 11.

In an X meltdown, Trump Jr, 46, voiced his outrage as the verdict was read out in Manhattan Criminal Court, tweeting "bullst" on Thursday.

He elaborated minutes later, accusing Democrats of systematically degrading the country. "Guilty on all counts. The Democrats have succeeded in their years-long attempt to turn America into a third-world sthole. November 5 is our last chance to save it," he stated.

There is no evidence supporting Trump's frequent assertion that the prosecution was orchestrated by President Joe Biden or his administration. Trump Jr also made an unsubstantiated claim that the trial amounted to election interference.

On the same day, Trump Jr expressed fears on his 'Triggered' podcast that his father might be assassinated before the 2024 presidential election. He referenced a social media post by ousted Fox host Tucker Carlson, saying, "This won’t stop Trump. He’ll win the election if he’s not killed first."

The post continued, "But it does mark the end of the fairest justice system in the world. Anyone who defends this verdict is a danger to you and your family."
