WASHINGTON, DC: In the wake of President Joe Biden stepping aside in the 2024 race, Donald Trump slammed the idea of the president being labeled a "hero."

"I can’t believe it! They’re turning Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the History of the United States, into a 'Hero'", the former president wrote in his Truth Social post on Tuesday, July 23.

"He was pushed out of power like a dog, and look what the Radical Left is able to do. MAGA2024!" Donald Trump concluded the post.

In a separate Truth Social post, Donald Trump slammed Vice President Kamala Harris as he wrote, "Does Lyin’ Kamala Harris think Joe Biden is fit to run the U.S.A. for the next six months? She must answer the question."

"Now it appears Joe is delegating his Presidential Authority to unelected Washington Bureaucrats! He doesn’t even trust his Vice President. WHO IS RUNNING THE COUNTRY?" he added in the post on Tuesday, July 23.



 

Joe Biden drops out of 2024 presidential race

On Sunday, July 22, Joe Biden announced that he was dropping out of his reelection battle with Donald Trump, weeks after his disastrous debate performance and several Democrats calling on him to step aside.

"While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term," read his statement.

The 81-year-old commander-in-chief will be addressing the nation on Wednesday, July 24 on the decision to drop out of the campaign.

Reacting to Joe Biden's announcement that he was stepping aside in the November election, Donald Trump criticized the president saying that he was "certainly not fit to serve” his presidency.

Questioning Biden's competence and legitimacy, Trump said, “Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve—and never was!"

"He only attained the position of President by lies, Fake News, and not leaving his Basement," he continued, according to People.

In the Truth Social post on Sunday, July 22, Trump further noted, "All those around him, including his Doctor and the Media, knew that he wasn’t capable of being President, and he wasn’t.”

Trump noted that the damage from Biden’s presidency would be swiftly addressed, reaffirming his campaign slogan: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
