WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden, in a rare sit-down interview with CNN on Wednesday, May 8, made bold predictions regarding the upcoming presidential election, voicing concerns over Donald Trump's behavior, and revealed advice from former President Barack Obama.

The interview, conducted in the battleground state of Wisconsin, covered a range of topics from election predictions to foreign policy.

President Joe Biden's predictions and concerns regarding the November election

Addressing the possibility of Trump's acceptance of the 2024 election results, Biden told CNN's Erin Burnett, "I promise you he won't," adding, "He won't, which is dangerous."

Despite this, Biden maintained a diplomatic tone, stating, "God love him," when questioned about the ongoing hush money trial. The POTUS mentioned he's tracking it "only on the evening news."

In addition to his insights on Trump's behavior, Biden shared the guidance he received from Obama regarding the 2024 contest, revealing that the 44th POTUS advised him to "keep doing what you're doing."

The interview also touched on the incumbent's concerns regarding polling data, particularly concerning his handling of the economy.

A recent CNN poll found that Biden's approval ratings for the economy (34%) and inflation (29%) were in the negative zone. However, he dismissed these numbers, stating, "The polling data has been wrong all along."

Biden expressed confidence in the trajectory of his campaign, asserting that polling data has been consistently inaccurate and questioning the reliability of traditional phone surveys.

"I think I'm feeling good about the trajectory of the campaign. And, you know, as far as I do, most people don't really focus and make up their minds till the fall. There's a lot going on," said the POTUS.

Meanwhile, developments in Trump's legal battles were discussed, including delays in his criminal case in Georgia and pending federal charges related to the January 6 Capitol Hill insurrection.

The Democratic president's reelection team highlighted their robust fundraising efforts and ground operations in battleground states, contrasting them with Trump's limited presence due to his legal obligations.

"By the end of this month, we will have at least 200 offices and 500 staff," Dan Kanninen, director of battleground states for Biden's campaign, told reporters on Tuesday.

He added, "The Trump campaign has virtually no presence in most of the battleground states. If they decide to do any organizing work at all, they will almost certainly be forced to rely on expensive and last-minute tactics with folks who have never set foot in a community in which they're knocking doors."

Internet reacts as Joe Biden says Donald Trump won't accept 2024 election results

Netizens weren't keen on the perspective shared by Biden during his CNN interview.

One remarked, "Yes he will, because he’s going to win," and another took a dig at the POTUS, saying, "Biden won't remember the results of the election."

"Biden can’t speak for himself, so how does he think he can speak for Trump," fumed a person, while someone inquired, "Question, will Biden accept his loss? Sounds like he already won't."
