NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former President Barack Obama took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, March 30, to praise President Joe Biden for his performance during his presidency.

In his post, Obama shared a clip of himself from the Democratic fundraiser event at the Radio Music Hall on Thursday, March 28, where he was present along with Bill Clinton and a host of A-list celebrities like Lizzo and Stephen Colbert to help collect more than $26 million for the reelection campaign of the incumbent.

Barack Obama's tweet

"It's not just the negative case against the presumptive nominee on the other side. It's the positive case for somebody who's done an outstanding job in the Presidency," Obama is seen saying in the clip.

"You've got record-breaking job growth. You've got an unemployment rate that is as low as it has been. Seniors are seeing big discounts on their prescription drugs. Helping young people go to college. The record-setting investment in clean energy that's going to transition us to the kind of future that our children and grandchildren deserve," he goes on to list.

"And that is something that Joe Biden has worked on diligently each and every day on behalf of working Americans, and I expect him to continue to do that for the next four years and eight months."

Adding to the message in the video, he wrote in his post, "From record-breaking job growth to expanding health care coverage, @JoeBiden has spent each and every day working on behalf of the American people. I can’t say the same about the guy running against him."

Internet reacts to Barack Obama's tweet

"Sad to see Obama repeat the "record-breaking job growth" HOAX. Everyone knows Biden's just fraudulently taking credit for jobs that came back after COVID," wrote a user in response to Obama's tweet.

"@BarackObama @JoeBiden You can fool some of people all of the time and all the people some of the time. But you can’t fool all the people all the time. More people are waking up to see through your lies," stated another.

"OMG, imagine believing this," jibed one user.

"Fixed it for you. 'From record-breaking inflation to doubling the cost of health care coverage, @JoeBiden has spent each and every day working on behalf of leftist activists. I can’t say the same about the guy running against him," mocked a user.

"'The guy running against him'. Lol. These people are sick. The guy running against him did more for the American people in his first day in office than Joe has done in 52 years," commented another.
