'Please don’t': Lizzo stuns fans with bombshell 'I quit' post hours after singing at Biden fundraiser
LOS ANGELES, CALFORNIA: Fans were shocked when Lizzo, the Grammy-winning rapper, unexpectedly announced her departure from the music scene without any prior notice.
Social media exploded with reactions from devastated fans expressing their sadness at their favorite artist's decision.
Lizzo has garnered attention lately following a viral interaction with television personality Candace Owens. Owens had voiced disapproval of Lizzo's lively dance routines, labeling them as controversial. In retaliation, Lizzo shared a video addressing Owens directly.
There was speculation recently about Lizzo's appearance in Jennifer Lopez's Prime Video documentary, ‘The Greatest Love Story Never Told.’ However, she wasn't anywhere to be seen in the documentary, leading one of the creators to explain that Lizzo wasn't available at the time.
Lizzo clarified in a TikTok post that she was never approached to participate in the project from the outset.

Lizzo announces departure from the music industry
The singer known for 'About Damn Time' shocked everyone with a sudden announcement on Friday, declaring her departure from the music industry.
In her Instagram post, the 'Truth Hurts' star expressed her exhaustion with constant criticism and scrutiny over her appearance.
She explained, "I'm getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet. All I want is to make music, make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it."
Lizzo highlighted the frustration of facing false accusations and being ridiculed, by stating "I'm constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views... being the butt of the joke every single time because of how Iook... my character being picked apart by people who don't know me and disrespecting my name."
In a firm conclusion, she declared, "I didn't sign up for this s**t. I QUIT"
