WASHINGTON, DC: Apart from his politics and his position as the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump is known for another aspect - his signature tan.

While his signature tanned skin tone has created quite a frenzy on social media in the past, Irish Star revealed that his famous tan shade has finally got a color match with Dulux’s huge range.

The 78-year-old President who was recently sworn in the office for his second term, has created his signature look over the years, which includes his orangish tan paired with blonde hair.

While Trump has long sparked speculation about applying tanning lotion to achieve his iconic shade, the Irish Star reported that finally a shade match has been found.

The outlet reported that his face color following the tan matches the shade of Roasted Pumpkin, according to the Dulux color visualizer.

However, his natural skin tone is significantly different from his tanned look, as the outlet reports his hands are of a different shade than his face. The color analyzer further found out that the president’s hands are the color Vanilla Whisp.

Over the years, the internet has been fixated on Trump’s visibly orange complexion, as several memes have erupted in the past regarding the same as well.

The phenomenon of the businessman-turned-politician getting photographed in orangish tan started in the 2000s when spray tanning was a popular fad.

Though Trump has never addressed it directly, the popular guess is that he uses artificial tanner and tanning goggles to protect his eyes during the procedure.

In a recent piece by Grazia UK, the reason behind Donald Trump's altering tan colors was dissected.

They wrote that light therapy specialist and researcher Tania Woloshyn has previously talked about how Trump's skin color changed as he became more famous.

She wrote in a 2018 paper, "Trump believes altering his natural skin colour will improve his appearance and, hence, sense of self. Trump's skin colour is a target of ridicule of a man obsessed with vanity yet marked by signs of failed masculinity.' Not exactly a glowing indictment, but it's pretty relatable honestly!"

American photo editor Emily Elsie is also of the same opinion, as the photographer noted, "I feel like something more psychological is happening." She added, "When Trump took office in 2017, he was significantly less orange... but as his term wore on, more bronzer was applied."

"The more stressed... the more makeup. And then when out of office, the makeup would only reappear for the cameras. But it was mostly toned down. Then something interesting happened. After Trump’s debate with Biden in June 2024, the makeup all but disappears. When Trump was up in the polls, and a victory was all but certain, the bronzer was gone," added the artist.
